"The latest revision of USB 3.0 is undeniably a great leap forward, but economic conditions have slowed the mass adaption of the technology. Intel has a bit of a roll as well, choosing to stick to their tick tock launch schedule that has their major debut of USB 3.0 hardware scheduled for sometime in the middle of next year. After NEC announced massive shipments and most likely will bring in huge profits, Intel announced that they will introduce an add-on chip by the end of 2010, but true Southbridge USB 3.0 for big blue is still a long ways off.
In the meantime we have NEC and their partners who are making add-in boards that will allow the integration of USB 3.0 into your existing motherboards by way of PCI Express. Many computers used today have an abundance of open PCIe slots making for a very high compatibility rate."

?Before I attempted to install the sticky rubbery tape thingy, I mean the "heat absorbing material", I thought there really wasn't anything to this product. It was basically an aluminum slab with some plastic ends. However introduce the sticky pad thingy and we've got a whole new animal. The sticky pad was easy to apply to the unit, however then you need to peel off the top adhesive protector. That's where the problem starts. There was no way to remove it without messing it up. It just wanted to peel off the main unit. This is by far the worst product add-on that I have had the displeasure of working with. I honestly can't believe VIZO would attempt to pass this headache onto the customer. It shows their failure to design and engineer some grippy material into the unit itself. I tried to use the EZ-Surf without the sticky pad and it honestly shot right out from underneath my laptop letting it crash to the table. It's that slick (plastic and aluminum) without it. The angled and smooth edges don't help, they only hurt that problem.?

?For some users and businesses data security is a very important issue. To combat this issue many have decided on using devices which lock away their hard drives so they cannot be stolen. One such product which does this is the Vizo Arius EX. Time to explore??

The average computer has about two USB ports and some audio ports. To be honest that is not enough with the growing amount of items the normal computer has such as digital cameras, MP3 players and webcams. Today we are reviewing the Master Panel II from Vizo, a product that will make connecting your different items of hardware much easier. Let?s see how it does in the review?

The picture quality too is as good as, if not better than, the video recorded from my media pc, though I think it maybe not quite as good as DVD quality but it WAS a rip from a DVD so it would have been compressed and therefore cannot be as good. I played it on all outputs, composite, svideo and component and they all worked fine with component giving the best results, as you would expect.

The VIZO Propeller II System Cooler is an upgrade over the old boring black slot fan and an updated version of their original VIZO Propeller. It features a translucent colour casing, larger blower fan, and a directed exhaust. Everything is still very basic in that the fan installs into your typical expansion card slot, and is powered off a standard Molex connector. But with the quieter blower, and the proposed CFM rating, it claims it can improve airflow and performance.

Computers of today are used in so many different ways that generate tons of heat. So, for those of us who know more about computers than just where the power button is, realize that we must do something to alleviate this problem if possible. One such way to do this is by utilizing system or case fans.

As more people continue to abandon (or supplement) their desktop computers with notebooks, these same people are starting to recognize the importance of keeping their systems nice and cool. There are a lot of passive solutions on the market that say they are able to lower the operating temperature of laptops, but ultimately I have found the performance to be much better on units that have actual cooling fans. VIZO is a company that has been producing a number of different laptop coolers over the years, and one of their latest creations also happens to be one of their smallest. The VIZO Mini Ninja (NCL-230-BK) takes on much the same styling and utility as the original VIZO Ninja and the larger VIZO Ninja II (Sumo Size), except Mini Ninja is a fair bit smaller. The naming scheme makes pretty good sense, wouldn?t you say?
