If the GTX 280 AMP! Edition from ZOTAC wasn't enough MHz for you, we might have the card for you today. XFX is back once again, carrying with it some pretty mean speeds on the new GTX 280 XXX Edition. While the XFX GTX 280 does come in 30MHz lower on the core compared to the ZOTAC offering, it does carry with it a significantly higher 200MHz DDR memory clock. Let's find out if that makes up for the reduced core speed.

Today we are looking at the brand new XFX GTX 280 video card. This is now the top end video card from XFX pushing the 9800 GX2 down a notch in the NVIDIA line. The XFX GTX 280 is a high performance video card by anyone's standards. It is bested slightly in 3DMark 06 and some gaming tests by the highly overclocked 9800 GX2 video cards like the XFX 9800 GX2 Black Edition and ASUS EN9800GX2 Top. I can't wait to see what the XFX GTX 280 can do in SLI and 3-way SLI, the latter is something the 9800 GX2 couldn't do.

The Geforce 9800 GTS has been around for some time now and the maturing of the product brings with it a selection of cards which look to improve on the reference specification or design. We have one such card on our test bench today, XFXs 9800 GTX Black Edition from a handpicked range of cards which feature enhanced core and memory speeds for exceptional performance and stability.

The PC hardware world is a very "grass is greener" kind of game. As soon as something new and exciting is released, we're all clamouring for the bit of kit over the next horizon. Fortunately - to some extent - in the world of GPUs this was halted for a while with the 8800GTX ruling the roost for just over a year. Now however, we're back to the old system, and while many have their eyes glued to the next nVidia and ATI offerings, the current ones are quite interesting. Case in point, XFX's 9800GX2... in Quad SLI.

XFX has done a wonderful job with the 9800GX2 Black Edition as it is the fastest available 9800GX2 on the market today at a clock speed of 700MHz for the core. The card plays every game on the market including Crysis in high settings and with anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering fully enabled. The card is available online for a price of $599.99 from ZipZoomFly this card is not cheap, but it is ultra fast.

It has been a while since we've seen anything from XFX, but they're back today with a 9600GT. This particular model we?re looking at isn't any ordinary 9600GT, it's the XXX Alpha Dog Edition which sits at the absolute top of the food chain in the world of 9600GTs. We've looked at so many 9600GT cards over the months that getting one which stands out from the pack isn't an easy task these days. We'll have to see if XFX is just offering a big overclock and nothing more, or if they can actually do something that makes them stand out from the pack that bit more.

The bundle and support are very well with the XFX Black Edition GeForce 9800GTX, it comes with COD4, which is one of the hottest PC gaming titles available at this moment and costs around $49.95 at most e-tailors or retailers making the card a more attractive buy. Support and warranty options are well taken care of BY XFX as they take very good care of their customers in the after purchase environment and quick RMA return times. Overall this card is a solid piece of equipment that excels in the 1920X1200 and below resolutions with moderate AA and AF settings. In the 1680 and 1280 resolutions you can turn up the AA and AF settings to their maximum values and get great FPS gameplay. Not quite an Editor's Choice, but definitely a Hot Product award winner.

Today we are looking at the XFX 9800 GTX Black Edition. This video card is the highest clocked of all the XFX 9800 GTX video cards, even more than the 9800 GTX XXX. The XFX 9800 GTX Black Edition is the single fastest 9800 GTX I have tested to date. XFX also offers its fantastic double lifetime warranty and bindles the card with one of the best multiplayer shooters around. If you are in the market for a 9800 GTX the XFX 9800 GTX Black Edition needs to be at the top of your list.

Today we are checking out one of the fastest and coolest video cards ever to come from XFX and NVIDIA, the XFX 9800 GX2 Black Edition. The Black Edition is overclocked even more than the legendary XFX XXX cards. There is no doubt that the XFX 9800 GX2 Black Edition is one of the best performing video cards on the market. It outperformed all the stock 9800GX2s I have tested and posted significantly better minimum frame rates on game tests. The XFX 9800 GX2 Black Edition and the Asus EN9800GX2 Top were a virtual tie performance wise. Both the cards also offer a nice game bundle. However, the XFX 9800 GX2 Black Edition edges the Asus card out in game quality and warranty.

A 9800 GTX in a rather black looking package with some serious extra's that should really get your attention? Sounds like an XFX 9800 GTX Black Edition to me! More inside...

Performance on the XFX nForce 790i Ultra SLI motherboard was great! The majority of our testing showed that the motherboard performance was very close to what we have seen on recent Intel Express chipset based boards. Once we look at more recent gaming results like FEAR and Crysis, we see that the XFX 790i Ultra absolutely dominates compared to the boards we tested it against in this review...

We realise this board is for the enthusiast who has oodles of money to spare but we still think this motherboard is just too expensive. It doesn't offer compulsive features that has made me go "Wow, maybe I should seriously look into selling a kidney". It's about the same price as the original Asus Striker Extreme, however that was at the right place at the right time with a chipset that was "revolutionary" and, at that point, an investment.

We're writing to let you all know that we have just posted a new article at HotHardware in which we evaluate the features, performance, and value of XFX's nForce 630i GeForce 7150 based motherboard, the cryptically named MG-630I-7159. Thanks to its integrated graphics processor, the MG-630I-7159 sports VGA, DVI, and HDMI outputs, and it's got some other handy on-board features as well, like an LED POST code error reporter and micro power and reset switches. Head on over to the site and check it out...
