The problems I encountered with this procedure are as follows; First when the top 'H' plate was resting on the heatsink base and I was trying to insert and screw in the thumbscrews the processor was free to slide about, this could be corrected when the top 'H' plate had been tightened a bit (provided that you had noticed it), but it more than likely will cause the thermal paste underneath to spread unevenly and result in poor thermal performance.

Silence is something that many require when it comes to PSUs and many companies have begun to cash in on it with buzz words like "Silent" and "Whisper Quiet" being placed all over packaging. Today however, I have a company that has "silence" in their name, well, sort of. Here with me is the Xilence Power 600w Gaming Edition. Well, let's see if its Xilent and if it games well; to the test bed!

All-in-all, the X1 gaming case is an interesting little beastie from Xilence. Its exterior look is a love-it-or-hate-it affair, akin only to Marmite in the way it inspires both anger and adoration, while its interior is an odd mixture of roominess and useless features. Ultimately, it won't be the chassis of choice for everyone, but buyers who do pick one up will be able to turn out some modest performance with a minimum of fuss, meaning the X1 is a decent all-rounder though it excels in nothing at all.
