For some people a case is undoubtedly nothing more than a box to keep all those messy components and cables out of sight while also providing some level of extra cooling. For most of us however our cases are an extension of our personality. They advertise to those around us how proud we are of our computers and how important it is for us to make a lasting first impression. It's the equivalent of us getting dressed up to go out or putting on a suit to go to work.
