Well taking this Samsung DVD-L300 Portable DVD Player for a test drive I have to say that there was little that I could find wrong with it. The picture quality was suburb, crisp vivid. The 10" wide screen was just the right size for laptop viewing. The built-in speakers were just that, nothing to scream about, however for personal viewing they were adequate but they are not going to fill any rooms. One of the outstanding options is the fact that you can connect the unit to a outside source with 5.1 Dolby digital for full surround sound.
