Eclipse confirmed our first thought: it represents an interesting solution reaching high performance levels, without forgetting about innovation. Its design improves inner-case air flow, providing more air for memories, graphics card (on the back) and PWR section on the mainboard. Unluckily our sample suffered some problems on jumper configuration, being unable to reach full speed, but the fan at 1800rpm is very silent and we're sure that PWM control enhances the possibilities offered by Eclipse. Priced around 50?, it can be a good choose for our system.

As the keyboard is about the most used item on the computer besides the monitor and mouse, and often outlives systems, the Eclipse is a solid buy. On our rating scale I would have to give the Eclipse a rating of 95 out of 100, and is a solid choice for a Gamers Gold Award.

While CPUs are reducing power consumption and heat output, coolers have being growing larger to compensate for lower noise tolerance from consumers. Cooler Master's new Eclipse is the latest example of such a cooler.

The Saitek Eclipse is probability the best keyboard I have used the key response is perfect so is the excellent build quality, Saitek have only used the best materials for the eclipse and it shows in the finished product being able to take nearly a seven foot fall and not even lose a key is impressive in anybodies book, not only that it has a backlit system that should have been completed years ago. As I said earlier in this review choosing a keyboard is a personal thing and one mans Gold is another mans poison but I would recommend to anyone looking for a board to take a look at the Saitek before any other...
