MSI have long been known for their motherboards and graphics cards but more recently we have seen them come up with some unique features which set them apart from other manufacturers. Their Stirling engine based Northbridge heatsink (fan that uses heat and pressure to power itself, no electricity from a fan header) is a prime example of some great out of the box thinking. In addition to this MSI have been enhancing products by adding components such as X-Fi soundcards to their high end motherboard bundles, but the great user focused ideas do not stop there. The recent launch of the GX laptop range gives us a high specification laptop with some excellent features (HDMI) and the ability to overclock at the touch of a button. Let's find out if it is as good as the marketing makes out.
