Overall, the HyperX PC2-6400D2LLK2 2GB kit is a decent DDR2-800 kit. It is surely a performance DDR2 module which operates at 400MHz with 4-4-4-12 latencies. As far as overclocking goes, we have seen better kits. Maxing out at 500MHz, we believe this is the highest we have achieved on any HyperX DDR2 kit tested to date. Although we had to loosen to CL5, the higher memory frequency makes up for the higher latencies. When testing at rated speed and voltage, our system was not stable. We later found out that the modules wanted 2.1V instead of the rated 2.0V. Considering that most DDR2 motherboards support up to 2.3V, this may not be a big issue but we expected the modules to run flawlessly at 2.0V.
