I suppose it's a little ironic that a keyboard that has been crafted to target a market so specifically should succeed at everything except the genre to which it should be most suited - but that's the reality of it. On paper, the Merc Stealth is an excellent gaming keyboard and, with time and practice, I don't doubt that gamers could learn to use it fluidly and masterfully. The downside though is that it takes time and practice at all - other keyboards we've looked at use a much more sensible layout of keys that manages to be both familiar and enhanced. Why can't the Merc Stealth?

Gamers love using peripherals that give them an edge, but is Ideazon's MERC Stealth one of those products? That's what we were set to find out. One thing is clear... this is a feature-packed keyboard, though it might not be for everyone.

I?m torn with this keyboard. To be honest, during general windows use the board frustrates the living daylights out of me.
However I know that this is due to how much I rely on keyboard shortcuts for regular windows operation. But on the other hand this keyboard does more than excel at what it was designed for, gaming.
