This month Super Talent added 8GB models to their Pico USB stick lineup, the firm claims these USB sticks are the smallest 8GB USB drives you can buy on the market. There are three different versions of the Pico drive, they are available in capacities from 1GB to 8GB and they all have their very small form factor in common.

Don't panic even if the topic triggers a strong deja vu feeling in you, because indeed we have already reviewed one Super Talent Pico A USB flash drive. The difference this time around is that now Super Talent has come up with a new model in the same product family and now the Pico series ranges from 1 GB up to 8 GB in capacity.

On one hand, there are the USB drives that are designed for urban warfare; the drives you can trust to back up and keep safe documents while sky diving or roving the lunar surface. Then there are the drives that appeal to us more down to earth folk, with the office boss our only danger. Super Talent's new Pico series USB drives may be just the thing for the latter group, but can the inexpensive solution compete with the more popular and heavily armored models?
