Not everyone can afford the latest and greatest heatsink on the market. Some users are stuck with the noisy stock coolers that are lacking in performance. What else can the user do? We take a look at a new entry level heatsink from Sunbeam called the Silent Whisper. At just $19.99, the budget-minded consumer might just have a reason to get rid of the stock heatsink.

There is something good to be said for a near-silent pc, but I don't have one. Even as I write this, the steady hum of my computer fans drone on. My friends can't stand my computer room for more than a half an hour. The sound drives them crazy. It doesn't bother me personally. I used to work with children for a living and I can ignore pretty much any sound. Not to mention, I've always set performance over comfort when it comes to cooling. However, for the sake of friendship, I decided to look into silent or near silent PC cooling. Coincidentally, Sunbeamtech have sent a Silent Whisper CPU cooler for review. The Silent Whisper is a supposedly near silent CPU cooler for the budget minded enthusiast. At $19.99 on some online stores, the Silent Whisper is very affordable, but how does it perform? Let's find out.
