The Hiper Type-R 580W line of power supplies have been popular in Europe, and I believe they will become just as popular in North America also. Even though there is more competition in the modular PSU market here, the Type-R power supplies have some innovations that allow it to stand out from the rest. The connectors are foolproof, the 580 watts of power is sufficient, the voltages are stable, and the operation is quiet. On top of all that, it looks pretty sweet. The Hiper Type-R adheres to the latest ATX 2.2 specifications and is able to accomodate the power requirements of the latest motherboards at a price that is acceptable for a good high wattage PSU.
