When the budget is tight and you have to have a quality free flowing case for that next gaming PC you are building, who are you going to give your money to? Once again, Cooler Master has a new release for under $70 that looks to be jam packed with the features you are looking for.

There's been a lot of hype in the computer industry about 'silent fans' and fortunately, at last, some are actually starting to earn this title. Today I'll be taking a look at the Cooler Master LED Silent Fan - another fan bearing the title of "silent". Will it be good enough to earn the "Silent" mantra?

Cooler Master has recently launched a new entry-level series of power supplies, eXtreme Power Plus. Products from this series are very simple, with optional passive PFC. We reviewed the 460 W model (RS-460-PMSR-A3), which costs only USD 40. Is this a good product for the average user? Can it really deliver its rated 460 W? Let's see.

With six +12v rails and four 6-pin PCI-E connectors just for starters, it's designed for those high end overclocked gaming rigs with multiple video cards that require a lot of power to perform optimally. Let's have a look at the rest of its offerings in more detail.

Cooler Master's Real Power M850 power supply is one of the first power supplies that has six 12V rails. This should be enough power for all your SLI or CrossFire needs. Like many other PSUs today, the M850 comes with a high gloss reflective case and a large number of connectors.

The Cooler Master Centurion 590 is a very affordable entry level case that brings a lot of features from much more expensive enthusiast class enclosures. Its nine 5.25" drive bays offer ultimate expandability, large video cards will also find a comfortable home in it.

The Coolermaster Hyper Z600 heatsink is a novel passive CPU heatsink for today's dual core processors. Its' 'star' shape, widely spaced aluminum fins and prodigious number of silvery copper heatpipes allow it to work without the benefit of a fan, albeit within specific thermal limits. As far as passive cooling goes (and I mean true passive cooling without any fan blowing toward it) Frostytech threw caution to the wind and stressed the Coolermaster Hyper Z600 heatsink in its passive mode.

ThinkComputers looked at Cooler Master's Real Power Pro series last year when I reviewed the 650W version. Cooler Master submitted its big brother, the 1000W version, to us for review. This powerhouse (literally) is ready to pump juice into a high-end gaming rig, possibly with multiple video cards or multiple processors. ThinkComputers has the review herein.

As more and more people are configuring their systems to operate in either nVidia's SLI or AMD's Crossfire configuration the demand for a power supply that can not only provide enough powerfor both video cards, but for all of the accessories that go it. As an example the cooling system we are using is comprised of a six TECs (thermoelectric coolers) which are notorious for drawing a great deal of current. The Real Power Pro 1000 handles everyone of the stresstest programs we tosses at it and all the while the voltage stayed within +-5%.

Cosmos S (internally called RC-1100 by Cooler Master) is a big full-tower case featuring aluminum body, ten 5" bays, a big 200-mm side fan and several other features. Let's take an in-depth on this new case from Cooler Master.

We have had positive experiences with Cooler Master cases here at Driver Heaven, generally they are well made, easy to use and they also always have decent styling, even the cheaper models. Of course there have also been some spectacular cases such as the Cosmos and Cosmos S which are winners of Driver Heaven awards. With plenty of good Cooler Master experiences behind us we were given the opportunity to review their latest budget case, the Centurion 590. We actually bought one of the original Centurions a few years back and it is a solid model which has proven to be hard wearing over years of heavy use.

The CoolerMaster Hyper212 is a new heatpipe-based CPU cooler that's compatible with virtually all current Intel and AMD motherboards. It's designed around four heatpipes radiating from a copper base up to a large block of aluminium fins. What's unique about the Hyper212 is the fact that it's designed to accept two fans for improved performance. The second fan is optional, of course, but is recommended for optimal performance.

Inspired by race cars (per Coolermaster's press release) this newest incarnation of the Cosmos is designated by it's S moniker, or Sport edition. Perhaps they mean sport racing with Ferrari's and Lamborghini's, as the sleek and defined look of the Cosmos S sure enough wouldn't mix well with the drunken crowds and painted up racing billboads of Nascar. Regardless, the polished and aggressive new face is exciting in itself, and we out to see how this new thoroughbred competes with it's more modest and silent sibling, the Cosmos 1000 which we reviewed back in December.

It was a little over a month ago that I had a chance to review another Cooler Master case, the Cosmos S. While the Cosmos is certainly a supurb case, a veritable heavyweight contender, not everyone may have the space (or the pocketbook) for an enclosure like that. This month Cooler Master has sent us something scaled down a bit, but equally as impressive looking, the Centurion 590.

The 1000W Cooler Master Real Power Pro is a great choice for anyone who wants to future proof their system in the power supply department. This unit should be able to handle a high end system with multiple processors and graphics cards without running up your electric bill thanks to the high efficiency and active power factor correction.
