The Fatal1ty 1010 mouse from Creative is an interesting contrast to the Logitech G5 Laser mouse I reviewed a month ago. The first thing is the size of the mouse being much smaller than the G5. After a short adjustment period the mouse worked just as well in heft to the G5. The weight modules are more configurable on the G5 meaning that you have more choice which is always better than limited choice.

Plug, play and enjoy. Those three words basically describe the XMod by Creative- a small and stylish device that "enhances" the quality of audio that you're listening to. Packaged in small and slick black box, the XMod comes with a white pouch, a white USB cable and a white pair of earphones.

We take a look at Creative's GigaWorks T20 speakers. Setting you back £60 and offering only 2-channel sound, are they worth it?

Creative has had a relatively long history in the Web camera business, but until now its products have been a little uninspiring in the design department. Perfectly acceptable in terms of desktop performance for individuals, they lacked a certain amount of eye candy compared to new snazzy widescreen laptops and LCD monitors. All that's about to change with the Live! Cam Optia, a Web camera so cool that it looks like it has been designed by Apple.

When confronted with basic rock music or even electronic music, the 370's simply do not convey any energy or passion to the listener, as the array of instruments disappear into a muddy "noise-pit" otherwise known as a soundstage. Tonality is as you would expect from a 2mm thick plastic enclosure - quite ordinary. Nearly all midrange bass is sent to the "subwoofer" which has become a dire hallmark of systems using small (<4") mid bass drivers.

Creative is back again with yet another nano-sized digital audio player, the Zen Neeon 2. The Zen Neeon 2 succeeds the original Zeeon player with an improved 1.5-inch CSTN screen and even video playback capability.

The Creative ZEN Vision W media player can playback up to 240 hours of video or tens of thousands of photos, and can also carry up to 15,000 songs. It features a high resolution, 480 x 272 pixels, 4.3-inch, 16:9 format widescreen color TFT display. While the predecessor has a 4:3 aspect ratio LCD display with a very limited viewing angle, we are pleased to report that the rejuvenated display on the ZEN Vision W has a much wider viewing angle with rich color representation and is by far one of the best we have seen yet.

Those craving for speakers packed with a "punch" will love the GigaWorks T20, not just for what it can do as a sound system but the appeal it brings with it as well.

Creative clearly have big plans for their WebCam lineup and with just about the only serious competition coming in the shape of Logitech's QuickCam Orbit they're not exactly fighting to be noticed, though on paper at least Logitech have the edge at present with their Logitech QuickCam Orbit MP boasting a genuine 1.3 Megapixel sensor (approx 1280x1024) as opposed to the Live! Motion's interpolated 1.3 Megapixel captures...

The Creative X-Fi is certainly a big leap forward for Creative in terms of hardware, finally ditching a lot of the issues found in the previous generations of their soundcards. No more poor resampling, significantly increased processing power and a big push towards improving game performance via OpenAL and X-RAM (Fatal1ty FPS and the Elite Pro only). It all comes at a price of course and the Fatal1ty FPS is certainly not cheap at $260, which means for most the Xtreme Music version will be far more compelling at well under half the price ($115 - it lacks the Remote and Drive Bay along with X-RAM)...

The Zen Vision: M is the best media player Creative has yet released and as such, demands attention. The quality of its display is its biggest assest over the fifth generation iPod, and it offers navigation innovations such as a shortcut button. It's still not as stylish as Apple's player or quite as effortless to use, but its the best case yet presented on why you should consider a media player other than an iPod...

Feature-wise, the Zen MicroPhoto is loaded. Creative packs a whopping 8GB drive which is excellent for its size and can store roughly 4000 songs while an FM player is also included in case you're up for something different. You also have a voice recorder which could come in handy. Although the unit can display pictures, the 1.5" screen is a bit small for that purpose...

Feature-wise, the 30GB Zen Vision:M supports JPEG, MPEG-1/2/4, WMV, DivX, and XviD with an estimated 4.5 hours of showtime - double that of the 30GB iPod. When used as an audio player, MP3, WMA (with DRM) and WAV are all supported up to 320kbps that can carry a tune for 14 hours. And like all things Creative, the Zen Vision:M has an FM Tuner and Voice Recorder...
