Creative present a new CB8100 model of wireless headphones. It's an unusual product - Bluetooth headphones, which can also work with a cable. That's the key feature of the CB8100 - Dual-Mode. However, this feature is not widely spread in wireless headphones, so it's certainly praiseworthy.

Creative has always been a big name in the audio device industry. Their sound cards are the norm for any mainstream computer buff but today we look at the Aurvana DJ, their latest foray into the headphone market.

Creative's Zen Vision W is a capable media player, despite some flaws. The wide screen is bright and does a fine job of displaying movies. Audio performance is excellent and size-wise it really isn't that bad, though if I was being picky I'd have liked it to be a touch slimmer. £215 is also very reasonable for a widescreen player with so much capacity.

The Creative Zen Stone Plus is a tiny, minuscule player that includes all the necessary portable music functions at a reasonable price and more.

At 2GB it has twice as much memory as the Shuffle - enough for around 500 MP3 tracks at 128kbit/sec. It has a microphone (the Shuffle doesn't), so you can use it as an impromptu dictaphone. It has a standard mini-USB connection, so you don't have to carry the daft little docking station around with you as you do with the Shuffle, and with the stubby USB cable that comes in the box, you can simply drag-and-drop music files to it, rather than being force to use proprietary software.

For around £62 (inc. VAT), (or £56 if you are a regular contributor in our community and qualify for free delivery with Scan) the Creative XtremeGamer is a serious bargain. You might be a bit wary of investing in a PCI card, but the slots should still be around in motherboards for a few years yet, and it's a small investment compared to shelling out £150-plus for the top models. It's Vista support is really very good, although we'd still like Creative to include a task bar icon like they do in Windows XP. Okay, you don't get the 64MB of X-RAM or I/O connector for expansion, but you still get a very capable card for entertainment, gaming and audio creation. Some people would argue that on-board sound does the job just fine, especially since many now offer the same extra Dolby and DTS that discrete cards use, but the sound quality of the XtremeGamer is just head and shoulders over anything on-board.

With the popularity of laptops over desktop PCs, and the zillion other portable media devices that interface with your computer rather than with your standard stereo system, it comes as no surprise that Creative is looking for ways to cater to that segment as well. The Xmod is one of Creative's latest external audio product offerings, boasting support for the PC, Mac and standalone functionality, this little device is meant to sit between your audio source and your speakers, acting in real-time improving your audio output using the different tricks learned from developing those SoundBlaster boards for so many years.

While the Creative ZEN Stone lacks features found on most MP3 players, you will be hard-pressed to find another quality player for $40 bucks.

Thus, with these being more or less identical products, Creative has gone down the only path available: making it cheap. Currently the Zen Stone retails at around £30, making it more than £20 cheaper than the iPod Shuffle which can be bought for in the region of £55. For two products that share identical features this is a significant saving, and Creative's effort doesn't lack any style either.

These are by far some of the best speakers we've had a chance to test and not only do they perform well, but they don't cost half the earth either. If you're looking for a sleek new set of speakers to go with your rig, then the Gigaworks T20 2.0 speakers should definitely be at the top of your list, especially if cost is an issue.

Creative's latest digital audio player is featherlight and really small. Like the iPod shuffle, it also lacks a display screen but touts a few advantages that easily makes it a must-have, even if you already have an MP3 player.

At around £55 they're an absolute steal for a great set of desktop speakers that look good too. Obviously, if you're prepared to spend a lot more money, you will find better sounding speakers utilising multiple channels, but at this price the T20s represent superb value. They're more convenient than 2.1 systems, with even less wiring to deal with, and in many cases, will sound better too.

If you travel often then you should invest in a Personal Media Player so you can take along your music, photos & videos and Creative's latest Zen Vision M is definitely up to the task.
