If you're looking for an LGA775 board that'll have plenty of features like SATAII, 1394b, and support SLI, Foxconn's NF4SLI7AA may be what you're looking for. This is the first retail Foxconn board I have tested, and all I can say is that Foxconn is delivering a great motherboard here. I am very impressed with their quick delivery of an excellent enthusiast part that offers the best Pentium 4 overclocking I've seen in a long while. Couple that with a completely working set of features, up-to-date connectivity and you've got yourself one hell of a bundle...

The Foxconn WinFast 761GXK8MC-S motherboard is based upon a new chipset from SiS which has a couple media-friendly assets. The SiS 761GX chipset supports all current AMD Athlon64 or Sempron processors, in this case on the socket 754 formfactor. The SiS 761GX is an integrated chipset which features SiS' Mirage 1 graphics core. Elsewhere on the WinFast 761GXK8MC-S motherboard are two DDR memory sockets for up to a maximum of 2GB of PC3200 DDR memory. Onboard goodies are kind of thin outside of the integrated graphics, with just 10/100 LAN, SATA, and audio standing out. The microATX board includes one PCI Express x16 slot and three 32 bit PCI slots...

The WinFast 6150K8MA-8EKRS is a budget friendly motherboard packed with advanced media and storage features native to NVIDIA's GeForce 6150 and nForce 430 chipset. It's not the fastest motherboard around, but HTPC aficionados take notice, PureVideo HD decoding is what it aims to deliver...

The Foxconn WinFast 6150K8MA-8EKRS packs a lot of punch into a tiny little package. The lack of DVI monitor and component video outputs does take away from some of the shine that was put on this motherboard by the performance it offers. With that said, I don't think we can hide from the fact that this is one heck of a solid package in the price range it is being offered. Foxconn has once again put a smile on my face with the overclocking options and performance out of the Micro-ATX WinFast 6150K8MAA-8EKRS and I think it is an exceptional offering in what is sure to become a very competitive market...

Foxconn is one of the first manufacturers to release an GeForce 6100-series motherboard, and the 6150K8MA-8EKRS specifically uses the best of class nVidia GeForce 6150 iteration and nVidia nForce 430 Southbridge. The Foxconn 6150K8MA-8EKRS mini-ATX motherboard which supports all Socket 939 AMD Athlon64 X2/FX processors on the market, as well as up to 4GB of PC3200 DDR RAM. In terms of goodies, the motherboard incorporates onboard analog video, a 7.1-channel Azalia audio codec, a single Gigabit LAN port and IEEE 1394a...

The Foxconn C51GK8MA, priced at around £65 in the retail channel, offers the ideal combination of GeForce 6150 IGP and nForce4 430 southbridge in a microATX-sized form-factor. Board layout and BIOS options were both surprisingly good, and the latter was a real bonus for a form-factor that usually is bereft of any tweaking ability whatsoever...

The NF4SK8AA-8EKRS is not fantastically life changing and revolutionary, but isn't bad either. In short, the board does what it says on the tin, works very well at stock speed, should be cheaper than the competition, covers all the necessary bases and has a sexy orange PCB. At the right price, it's worth a look...

The Foxconn 945P7AA-8EKRS2 supports 533/800/1066 MHz FSB Pentium 4/D and Extreme Edition processors and can be equipped with up to 4GB of non ECC DDR2-667 memory. The board has plenty of onboard expansion ports, such as an additional IDE/RAID controller, dual Gigabit NICs, IEEE 1394a and Intel's Azalia audio controller....

If you're building a new system and are planning to use SATA drives then the 955X7AA has plenty on offer. On top of the four SATA devices that the Intel chipset offer there's an additional Silicon Image controller that adds support for another four devices. In addition there's dual Broadcom Gigabit Ethernet contollers - one on the PCI Express bus and one PCI bus - as well as FireWire 400 and FireWire 800 support. That's not a bad set of features and the latest FireWire technology could be particularly useful if you need to shift a lot of large chunks of data using something like this external Maxtor FireWire 800 drive.

Foxconn is not known as a producer of high-end, feature rich, overclockable motherboards but I think the NF4SK8AA-8EKRS will begin to change that and it is a step in the right direction for Foxconn and their WinFast line. Despite the BIOS not being the best for overclocking and it certainly does fall short in certain areas, it is still very capable of allowing a user to squeeze the most out of a mid range set of components. The list of onboard features is very long and all of those features function extremely well...

Based on the high end Intel 955X chipset, the Foxconn 955X7AA-8EKRS2 motherboard obviously supports all the dual core goodness Intel is pimping right now, and the board comes with a great set of goodies. Standard features for the '-8EKRS2' version of the base Foxconn 955X7AA board are Intel's high definition Azalia audio controller, two Gigabit NICs, an additional Serial ATA/RAID controller and an IDE RAID controller. It's a highly integrated platform, but one which is still very upgradable thanks to the three PCI slots and three PCI Express x1 sockets in addition to the PCI Express x16 graphics port...

If you consider yourself a hardcore gamer and want the power that two videocards bring but are not much into overclocking, then Foxconn has the mobo for you. The WinFast NF4SK8AA-8KRS is a no-frills AMD Athlon64 socket 939, nVidia nForce4 SLI chipset based motherboard with a retail price of approximately $150 CDN ($125 USD). Standard features are limited to a 7.1 channel audio controller and Gigabit LAN but there's plenty of expansion room if you need more, with three PCI slots and a single PCI Express x1 slot. Drive support extends to 4 SATAII and four IDE devices...
