Today we are going to take a look at a new offering from Noctua. No it isn't a huge towering cooler but something that makes these coolers efficient. It's their newest 120mm cooling fan label the NF-P12. And sure you are familiar with their NF-S12 series that we reviewed some time ago. Well, the new series shares the same color scheme, but the difference is in the blades.

The Noctua NH-U12P is a slightly refined take on the companies previously successful NH-U12 heatsink. This time around, Noctua bundle in the NF-P12 fan, and it's not your average 120mm vaneaxial fan either. It's flesh tone coloured plastic draws attention away from its three key innovations; SSO bearings, vortex-control notches, and textured leading impeller surfaces. Noctua's NH-U12P heatsink in one of the few models to breakthrough the low noise handicap and actually perform like a high performance heatsink.

The NF-P12 is a new 120mm fan with several improvements for very silent operation. Noctua claims the NF-P12 has been specifically designed for high-impedance applications such as processor coolers and watercooling rigs and features "psychoacoustic" improvements to make it less annoying to the human ear.

The last time I was privileged enough to get my mitts on some Noctua branded fans, I had to make up a new word to describe how quiet they were. Continuing this fashion of ultra quiet fans, Noctua have released the awkwardly named NF-P12 fan which builds on the success of the previous blade spinners we?ve seen, and adds some more fins and interesting notches. Hopefully I'll have to rack my brains for a new word for this brown and peach number?

It always seems that cooling and quiet are at odds with computer hardware. Cooling is a priority for those who push their systems hard or overclock. Such cooling usually comes at the price of noise. Today we look at one product that may provide the cooling needed but without sacrificing quiet running. Come read along as we test one such product.

When you think of case fans, a lot of names come to mind, but unless you're a cooling connoisseur that's traversed all corners of the web, Noctua probably isn't one of them. That's where we at HardwareLogic come in, bravely venturing the web where few geeks have gone before, and in our latest wanderings, we've stumbled upon an Austrian company dedicated to a small array of cooling products.

Today I shall be taking a look at a product from Noctua that promises to be the answer to those seeking that silent dream. The Noctua NF- S12 and the NF - R8. We only got one NF - S12 (120mm) as we know most 120mm fans can be run silently, but on the R8 we decided to get 3 of these in to replace a complete set of fans in one rather loud UV acrylic case. Trust me even with the quiet golf ball fan there is still a slight hum of fan noise, so let us see if the Noctua's can give me even more piece and quiet shall we.

Noctua is aiming to deliver high quality computer products and proudly proclaim their products are "Designed in Austria". Their answer to the chipset cooling problem is the Noctua NC-U6 chipset cooler, which is a high-rising copper and aluminum heatsink with heatpipe technology that looks rather impressive.

There are many companies that exist for the sole purpose of helping your PC keep it's cool, but Noctua believes they do that better than anyone. So, we are putting their 80mm fan, 120mm fan and chipset cooler to the test, to see if they live up to the hype.

Today I shall be taking a look at a product from a company that, till recently, I had not heard of before. That said I have only heard good things about them in the short time I have known about them. The company in question is Noctua and the item I will be looking at is the Noctua NC-U6, which is a chipset cooler, and with the reputation they, Noctua, have built up I am expecting some good results.

Noctua pride themselves on quality, quiet cooling solutions, and they do a damn good job. Today I have chassis cooling, the NH-S12 or a 120mm fan to the rest of us.

Earlier this month I already reviewed Noctua's 80mm and 120mm fans and I was amazed how silent they were. The exact same 120mm fan is included in the NH-U12F bundle so even before I unpacked the product I already knew this would be a pretty quiet cooling solution. But being quiet isn't enough to be a good CPU cooler, the cooling performance also matters greatly. Read on to find out more about the Noctua NH-U12F's cooling performance.

The newest fan offerings from Noctua are real gems! They are quiet (silent, when used with the ULNA,) and move a respectable amount of air. While I hate to make generalizations about such things, these fans exhibit the high quality, innovative features and performance that products from this part of the world are famous for. Noctua has clearly set out to redefine what the future of quiet cooling will be, and if these fans are any indication, they have a very good start.

The Noctua fans presented today are reasonably priced, and excellent value for the product that you get. The design benefits are obvious, with the resulting lack of noise paying testament to the high quality work and testing that Noctua has been able to produce. If you want quiet fans, then look no further, because the Noctua NF-S12 and the Noctua NF-R8 are the best.
