"While the HDT SD964W cooler from Xigmatek isn't the best performing tower cooler I've seen, it does have a niche that many enthusiasts may want to explore. It didn't perform well on the overclocked Q6600 in the test mule, but it should be more than adequate for dual and tri-core processors in the 65W range with moderate voltage increases."

"Xigmatek sends us another solution to just such a quest to improve the cooling of your precious graphics card. I?m not exactly certain how it all came about, but this cooler is one I believe I may have seen before, in some fashion. Xigmatek, however, added their own flair, special touches and changed little things. It is, in its purist form very similar to the SilenX cooler I looked at back in February. Hopefully things have changed since then.

We reviewed no less than three high output power supply products from Xigmatek in the past few months all of which were premium products and received glowing reports. Today we will test the performance of a mid-range product from Xigmatek, the NRP-MC651 650W. The NRP-MC651 is sourced from the same range as the MC851 850W which we reviewed not long ago. The unit on test today however is considerably less expensive and meant to compete in the mainstream market. Today we will find out the corners Xigmatek have cut to reduce the price for the different market.

Most enthusiasts are already very familiar with the Vendetta 2, TRUE, and HDT-S1283, but the landscape is going to change with the Xigmatek Thor's Hammer S126384 CPU cooler. Benchmark Reviews compares the top coolers using the Yate Loon D12SH-12 and Kaze SlipStream 120 on an overclocked and over-volted Intel Core i7-920 Processor.

Today's sample is the Xigmatek Thor's Hammer S126384, a variation on their four heat-pipe cooling solution. The Thor's Hammer is a complete re-think of a bunch of the features of the previously released four-pipe coolers. Thor's Hammer introduces dual layered heat-pipe cooling, as well as a unique take on the fin design. The dual layered heat-pipes consist of a total of seven pipes of two varying dimensions. The fins (or body) of Thor's Hammer are black nickel coated and have an unusual stager and shape, both of which are to aid in airflow through the cooler which will reduce temperatures.
