The EVGA 8600 GT Superclocked graphics card performs very well given the cost of the card. If you need a graphics card for DirectX 10 gaming on Vista below $200 the EVGA 8600 GT Superclocked is a good option.

The eVGA nForce 680i SLI 775 A1 is a great board, from a great company. It is a board that you should look at if you are wanting the top of the line in the nVidia camp. You get full features, a full bundle, full performance as well as the full price with this one...

There are really no down-side or negative aspects to this EVGA 680LT motherboard, it meets or excels the needs to be the backbone and beginning of any desktop system in today's demanding PC world. EVGA offers their users excellent customer service and with their lifetime warranty on their motherboards is unbeatable so when you buy EVGA you buy more than just the product. Good Job EVGA, this is a board worthy of our Editors Choice Award for its overall effectiveness and overclocking abilities.

Fortunately, for those who are interested in cutting-edge performance, NVIDIA has made a cut-down version of the nForce 680i SLI. This new LT version costs around £30 less than the fully fledged board, and we've received the brand spanking new EVGA nForce 680i LT SLI for review.

While the EVGA 680i LT SLI doesn't win any awards, that's not to say it isn't a good motherboard. The reference design is still reasonably well laid out, performs decently and overclocks very well indeed. It's certainly less noisy than the standard nForce 680i reference design, despite having two chipset fans. Overall, it's essentially an average runner.

There really isn't too much more to say about the nForce 680i LT SLI as there isn't really anything new about the product itself! NVIDIA wanted a part that would fill the void between the 680i and 650i and the 680i LT SLI does just that with a reasonable price-tag for the performance level that is offers. At $199 this board will peak the interest of many gamers that want to have a board that supports SLI Technology!

While most GeForce 8800 GTX cards are all based on the same product, with the exact same specs, EVGA has taken the 8800 GTX a step ahead. They cherry picked cards that can run high GPU and memory speeds and engineered a card that is running at higher clocks right out of the box. In our testing we see about 10% increased performance, especially at high resolutions with demanding games.

Nvidia finally released a successful Intel chipset for the enthusiasts, which offers unparalleled performance and a huge overclocking potential. The extreme gamers can now enjoy full 2x16 SLI operation while operating over 1800MHz FSB (quad pumped). This is quite an improvement over the old 590SLI, which often tops out around 1400MHz.

For a street price of $116 after mail-in rebate, the 7600GTS is a good alternative to the 7600GT, as its performance is very nearly the same, but the price is lower. After consultation with EVGA, they say the 7600GTS is a cross between the 7600GS and a 7600GT (GDDR3 memory). All in all a good entry level gaming card that won't break the bank.

EVGA has done their normal great job with their 7900GS KO Edition card. Overclocked from the standard reference clock that NVIDIA specced the card to run at, the 7900GS brings a lot to the table including 7800GT-like performance for $199, half the price of what the 7800GT offered at launch.

Today sees NVIDIA announce two new products in the high end of the mid-range, launching one with immediate availability to boot, in order to do something with less-than-perfect G71 silicon in one instance, and phase out an existing product with something they think is better in the other. GeForce 7900 GS and GeForce 7950 GT are their names, here's the skinny on them both.

As concerns the specific eVGA examples, the Black Pearl e-GeForce 7950 GX2 is, we think, the most boutique and speedy graphics board that money can buy. That says volumes on its own, standing head and shoulders above the rest, should watercooling be up your street. And if it's as easy to fit and maintain as eVGA have made it, why wouldn't it be up anyone's street if the price was right?

EVGA's e-GeForce 7900 GT KO Superclock is a good implementation of NVIDIA's GeForce 7900 GT SKU, boasting some incredibly high clock speeds out of the box. From our testing of this card, it doesn't appear to suffer from the third day syndrome problems under heavy load, but we recommend checking EVGA's support forum for customer reports on the product. With that said though, EVGA has a solid support programme, a great warranty term and some nice perks on top.
