ALCATEL ONETOUCH today announced availability of the Fierce XL LTE smartphone powered by Android, available at select Metro PCS stores in the U.S. and online at MetroPCS.com beginning November 2, 2015, and later this winter at T-Mobile.
With a standard retail price of $139.00, the Fierce XL features a 5.5-inch HD IPS Display (1280x720 pixels), a 1.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 Quad-Core Processor (MSM 8909), 4G LTE Cat 4 150Mbps (B2/4/12) connectivity, sn 8MP Auto Focus Main Camera with Flash + 2MP Front-Facing Camera, and 2GB of RAM + 16GB of storage (expandable up to 32GB with MicroSD). Its 2500mAh battery will last for up to 12 hours of talk time and 360 hours of standby time. Fierce XL also supports the latest mobile technologies including Wi-Fi Calling, HD voice support and VoLTE.
In addition to Fierce XL's Auto and HDR photo modes, ALCATEL ONETOUCH has also partnered with Polaroid to bring the Polaroid camera mode. It allows users to instantly apply filters, borders – including the Polaroid Classic Border Logo - and date/location/text tags to their photos. Shots can also be captured in either single, double or multi-shot layouts.
In addition, Google's enhanced Translate features are found exclusively on Android powered smartphones like Fierce XL. With this, users can instantly translate to or from any of 89 languages by speaking, writing or scanning with the Fierce XL camera.
