MSI announced it is strengthening its strategic partnership with Samsung Display. Following Samsung Display's reveal of the QD-OLED Penta Tandem™ technology brand, MSI confirms it had already begun integrating this exclusive 5-Layer Tandem QD-OLED into its monitor lineup in early 2025 to deliver the industry's premier visual experience for gamers.

Penta Tandem™ Technology: MSI's Core Advantage
The newly launched Penta Tandem™ brand from Samsung Display represents a significant breakthrough in QD-OLED technology. By utilizing a 5-layer stack structure in the blue emitting layer and optimizing organic materials, this technology effectively disperses energy to improve brightness, lifespan, and luminous efficiency.

MSI began collaborating with Samsung Display in early 2025 to feature this technology (5-Layer Tandem OLED) as a key selling point for the MPG 272URX QD-OLED. This implementation successfully addressed brightness challenges associated with increased pixel density in high-resolution panels. Data indicates that compared to the previous 4-layer structure, the new technology improves light efficiency by 1.3 times and extends panel lifespan by 2 times. This ensures MSI QD-OLED monitors deliver deep blacks and vivid colors alongside superior durability.
