Sideshow is a Windows Vista only technology that uses an external screen on the laptop lid to let you gain access to your email, music and other content, without having to turn on your machine...Asus has essentially just shoehorned the Vista Sideshow screen into the lid of an W5F - creating the W5Fe.

The immense diversity of graphics cards is already overwhelming -- never mind the excess of board manufacturers based on the same chipset. In most cases, the manufacturer has to build a graphics card based on ATI or NVIDIA's reference design, leaving minimal variation between, say, a BFG and EVGA card. The most prominent difference that companies like to set themselves above other units is the implementation of performance memory chips, pre-overclocked RAM and core, or large, quiet heatsinks. To what we've seen today, our review unit of Asus' EAX1950PRO (Basically an ATI Radeon X1950 Pro) with a large, double slot heatsink/fan is what we will be taking a look at. Is it quiet? Is it cool? Is the price competitive? How's the performance? Let's investigate these factors in our review today.

The M2A-VM HDMI is a configurable solution by ASUS that can be deployed as an OEM platform or converted for home theater duty with a HDMI add-on module and AVIVO hardware decoding. This is one of the better AMD 690G motherboards in the market, but is it for you? Find out inside.

The motherboard itself is a breeze to work with, the documentation is spot on, and the silent chipset cooling system is a nice touch. As you saw, the Asus P5N32-E SLI Plus motherboard was very quick in all the benchmarks PCSTATS tossed its way. If you primarily use your computer for workstation office tasks or 2D applications then the P5N32-E SLI Plus is definitely overkill. While it's one of the fastest motherboards PCSTATS has tested, you are not going to notice the difference between this motherboard and an entry level board when working in Microsoft Word.

From a features point of view, the ASUS Commando motherboard is more board than many boards on the market. The inclusion of GRAW and 3DMark06 on a motherboard bundle is unique to ASUS's Republic of Gamer's line of motherboards. From a performance point of view, the P965 based Commando is faster than the competition in terms of speed.

Everyone thinks of the NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GS as merely the cheaper, crippled version of the GeForce 7900 GT. But ASUS changes that perception with their EN7900GS TOP graphics card. Our test results showed that the ASUS EN7900GS TOP graphics card is actually much faster than the GeForce 7900 GT and at least for now, more than twice as fast as the new ATI Radeon X1950 GT.

ASUS is a name mainly known for motherboards, but over the past few years they have expanded their product link to include video cards, monitor's, laptops, and other consumer electronic devices. Today we will be looking at one of their video cards the EAX1950 Pro. The card features ATI's X1950 Pro GPU, 256MB of GDDR3, CrossFire Support, and HDCP support. We will be testing it against the recently reviewed Sapphire X1900 XT video card.

ASUS reckons Vista's improvements are enough to warrant a new Deluxe motherboard. Its AMD AM2-based nForce 590 is the recepient of the makeover and includes more extras you can shake a stick at.

In order to create a product to strike a balance between performance, price, and features, the amount of effort required could be quite a challenge. What's more, in the motherboard world, a whole new level exists beyond the standard 'requirements' of a successful product. Enthusiasts will demand overclocking capability and stability; while others will want the physical layout and design to be as optimal as possible when cables are being pulled around the case. In general, if a motherboard overclocks well, is stable, and priced aggressively, it is almost guaranteed to be a 100% successful product. NVIDIA's move into the targeted mainstream (priced) motherboard market with the 650i chipset is also big news in this industry. How will the implementation of NVIDIA's 650i chipset into Asus' P5N-E SLI motherboard prove a point right here? We'll have to see what Asus, the largest motherboard manufacturer in the world, has in store for us today.

The GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB has captured and quickly dominated the $300+ videocard market as there is nothing else within this price range that can compete or even come close to it. This new GeForce 8-series alternative was released a little over a month ago now and availability has been excellent from the beginning, with countless options available. Today we have managed to get our hands on the ASUS EN8800GTS, which is priced at around $310 and comes with a few added bonuses.

As a less expensive alternative to the nForce 680i SLI boards, the P5N32-E SLI Plus board is a good choice for the gamer wanting SLI on their motherboard without a large price tag. Performance-wise the board performs near on-par with the nForce 680i SLI board from EVGA. Feature-wise, the board has nearly every feature that the nForce 680i board would have on it.

Water-cooled components, especially video cards are nothing new. We've already seen companies like Sapphire sell their video cards with a water-cooling kit attached to it. If you're a bit of an enthusiast, you can easily find after-market products that can convert your air cooled graphics card to a water-cooled one. Thus ASUS' AquaTank 8800GTX that we're looking at today, wasn't much of a surprise. In fact, BFG has been selling their Water-Cooled 8800GTX card for some time now. The only thing different about the AquaTank 8800GTX is that its overclocked out of the box.

ASUS is a brand known for quality and excellence in all of their products. With the launch of NVIDIA's 680i chipset ASUS presented enthusiasts with the Strike Extreme board with the price tag of around $400. This price tag made it very unreasonable for most consumers out there. Because ASUS knows everyone is not made of money they released the P5N-E SLI board, which uses the less expensive 650i chipset. This is a very great option for consumers who want to SLI support on the Core 2 Duo platform. So let's take a look at this budget board from ASUS.
