I got my first webcam many years ago. It was cool to have, but I really did not get that much use out of it because there were not a lot of applications out there that I could use it with. Now there are a ton of programs that utilize webcams for video chat and video calling. Today we will be taking a look at the QuickCam Ultra Vision from Logitech. It is one of the best webcams I have seen in a long time and offers many features other webcams just don't have. Let's take a look...

My ChillStream for the PS3 review sample has a high gloss piano black case that looks just like the case on my PS3. The downside to all that shine is that finger prints and smudges show up quite badly.

Logitech has been around long enough to be considered a pioneer in the peripheral hardware industry. Originally producing products for top-tier OEM's such as Dell, the retail market soon followed; and not long afterwards people like me had three-piece 2.1 speaker systems with optical pointing devices and multi-function keyboards. Through constant innovation and persistent trail-and-error research with new product styles Logitech has helped to shape the peripheral hardware industry as we know it today. Continuing in their evolving development of consumer preferred products, Logitech offers the Cordless Desktop LX 710 Laser mouse and keyboard set designed for multitasking professionals.

Follow along as I take you on a journey to see what the worlds most advanced mouse looks like and how it operates.

All the satellite speakers contain twin 2" drivers. The theory behind this is dual drivers will give you a richer, fuller sound. The problem with this theory is when you have two drivers so close to each other the high frequency sounds can cancel each other out creating holes in the sound field or you hear areas where the sound is over-saturated, fat and nasty. The two problems together can create a very uneven sound field. You've either got too much distorted sound or none at all. This phenomenon is called lobing by audio geeks. To get around this Logitech employs what they term, "Frequency Directed Dual Driver technology" or FDD2, which is a very fancy term for adding a low pass filter to one of the drivers. The filter eliminates the problem frequencies from one of the drivers giving you a warmer mid-tone without the choppy treble response.

Nowadays, fortunately for the computer user -- it's not just about function anymore. Prior to the popularity of computers as a home entertainment device, design is almost completely irrelevant. Beige cases, beige monitors, beige keyboards with grey keys and funny sounding springs -- oh, the memories (IBM, much?). However, in the recent few years, it seems that major changes have taken place. Pretty much every family has at least one computer in the home for various purposes. With many users implementing PCs as a home entertainment hub, design has caught up significantly as the computer is no longer just used for work purposes. It is an integral part of the digital home. With this in mind, industrial design has also been modified so much that design and function all comes together in a package. How about a very sleek, advanced, and simply (subjectively) beautiful keyboard? Let's take a look at the function and design of Logitech's diNovo Edge Bluetooth keyboard today.

Logitech's X-540 5.1 speaker system has a lot to recommend it. The speakers sound great and the fit and finish is outstanding. Logitech has done a great job of packing some excellent performance into a small package that will fit nicely on and around most people's computer station. A rich feature set and several mounting options combine with dead-simple setup to give the consumer an excellent 5.1 PC speaker system at a very reasonable price.

Logitech bills the MX Revolution as the world's most advanced mouse. To a certain extent it is evolutionary. From a gamers' point of view, you would be better served by a G7 mouse, as the resolution of this mouse in actual play is not good enough to play the latest and greatest FPS games. Regular mouse users will love the new features including the quick-flip through documents and the Search button. As a gamer playing through games like Rainbow Six Las Vegas and STALKER this mouse doesn't cut it and it is for those reasons I give this mouse a Silver award instead of a Gold Award. The other factor is the price. The price for the MX Revolution is $99, which is as expensive as many wireless keyboard+mouse combos in that same price range. In the end this mouse costs too much for too little and is better geared for a consumer product than a gaming one.

When you make a statement saying you have the "World's most advanced keyboard", you better be able to back it up. When Logitech said they had the world's most advanced mouse in the MX Revolution they were able to back it up. The diNovo Edge features Bluetooth technology, a stylish sleek design, charging base, and backlit stealth controls. Let's see of this keyboard has what it takes to stop me from using the keyboard I have been using since last August!

Logitech is soon to release its top-of-the-range Harmony 1000 unit, but while I wait to get my hands on one of those I thought I'd take a look at the next one down - the 895. What this offers over the 885 is RF - making it possible to use even without line of sight. A RF base extender is provided and IR connectors, so you can theoretically control up to eight devices from each extender.

Logitech has long been known as one of the premier manufacturers of Windows-based input devices, especially keyboards and mice. So, when I heard that they created their first wireless keyboard/mouse combo that was exclusively designed for the Mac, I had to call them up and request a review sample. Luckily, Logitech had one available and they shipped it over to me. The Logitech Cordless Desktop S 530 Laser for the Mac combines Logitech's award winning design with the creativity of Mac's architecture and unique operating system features. Let's jump right into this review with both feet, and see if the S 530 matches up to the quality of typical Mac products.

Fremont, Calif.-based Logitech Inc. is clearly going after the mobile iPod user with its FreePulse Wireless Headphones, but its Bluetooth-enabled stereo headphones work with any device that has a 3.5-millimeter audio jack.

When compared to other headphones with a similar set of features, the Logitech set is a great value for a quality product. The ability to reduce unwanted background noise is a welcome feature for anyone who travels and the detachable audio cable make them convenient to use even when not listening to music. Clear, crisp sound along with a sturdy carrying case round out a product that I can highly recommend to anyone in the market for noise canceling headphones.

Anyone that has ever used a laptop can tell you that the little nubby thing in the middle of the keyboard just doesn't give the same level of precision as a regular old mouse. I personally like the touchpad a lot more than the little red nubby, but even then, nothing beats a conventional mouse that you can actually move around. At the same time, the last thing you want is to have countless cables sticking out of your notebook, so a wireless mouse is an absolute must. And I think we have just discovered what could be the absolute best notebook mouse out there in the Logitech VX Revolution, the laptop version of its bigger and more impressive brother, the MX Revolution.
