Logitech has produced a very solid mouse in the MX Revolution. The free spin mode on the MicroGear scroll wheel is an absolute blast to use, and the overall size and shape make for a very comfortable experience. The rechargeable internal battery has its pros and cons, but overall, I'm quite pleased with how everything went during the trial period. Logitech should definitely include some sort of mechanism to prevent losing the USB micro receiver, however.

Logitech is a company that has been setting the standards in the mousing community for quite some time now. Today I have on the bench what Logitech calls "The world's most advanced mouse" by being smarter and faster then ever before and it's all in one little package called the MX Revolution. Follow along as I take you on a journey to see what the worlds most advanced mouse looks like and how it operates.

Logitech bills the MX Revolution as the world's most advanced mouse. To a certain extent it is evolutionary. From a gamers' point of view, you would be better served by a G7 mouse, as the resolution of this mouse in actual play is not good enough to play the latest and greatest FPS games. Regular mouse users will love the new features including the quick-flip through documents and the Search button. As a gamer playing through games like Rainbow Six Las Vegas and STALKER this mouse doesn't cut it and it is for those reasons I give this mouse a Silver award instead of a Gold Award. The other factor is the price. The price for the MX Revolution is $99, which is as expensive as many wireless keyboard+mouse combos in that same price range. In the end this mouse costs too much for too little and is better geared for a consumer product than a gaming one.

Logitech holds the crown for the best mice and keyboards available for Windows today. The endless array of choices, from the corded to cordless and gamer to casual user, has made us ask, "What else is left?" How can something as simple as a mouse undergo so many revisions and still offer something fresh? Enter the Revolution MX and VX laser mice. Differences between the MX and VX versions are discussed at the end of the review, as we had both on hand to tinker with.

When you are thinking about getting a new mouse there are really only 2 choices that you will see at your local computer store, Logitech and Microsoft. While Microsoft mice are nice, Logitech's usually out do them in features and quality. Well today we are taking a look at what Logitech claims to be "The World's Most Advanced Mouse". We are talking about the MX Revolution Mouse, so let's take a look!

If you're willing to spend just above £50 on a mouse, and anyone who spends a lot of time on the PC should do, then Logitech's MX Revolution is a serious contender for your cash. Great features, brilliant design and a quality finish make it a great investment and one that will keep paying you back for a long time.

Here we meet again. Logitech has another mouse billed as "the world's most advanced mouse." The MX Revolution is the latest mouse in the MX line. Logitech has introduced many new features that require the use of SetPoint to actually function. Will this be the first mouse that I use with software?

Designed for the right-hander only, the left side features a large thumb shaped groove with rubber gripping moulded into shiny black plastic. The main body is finished in a fetching dark grey matt plastic, whilst the right hand side is cut of one large piece of black rubber with small indents for the fingers. One hesitates to call a mouse sexy, but this is as close as you're likely to get. Certainly, all the elements come together beautifully. Even the charging stand is neat and plugs into the mains so your mouse charges when you're not using your PC.
