When I had a chance to review the Logitech 676 Harmony Remote back in 2005, I was totally impressed with the experience. It changed things in the Universal Remote Control world because it was easy to use, easy to setup, and most importantly, it had a very high approval factor with all the non-techies in the household. Most importantly, you can do it yourself without the help of an CEDIA Certified Engineer. Now that we're in 2008, Logitech continues to be successful with their line of Harmony Remotes. Their latest remote, the Logitech Harmony ONE Advanced Universal Remote Control continues the tradition of easy to use and easy to setup for the modern home theatre.

Logitech unveiled their Z Cinema speaker system at this year's CES, to plenty of fanfare. The system blends a refined two-way satellite design with a robust, powerful subwoofer. We take the latest high performance Z-series PC speaker system for a spin, and find lots of cause for excitement.

The Logitech G15 ticks many boxes on the gaming keyboard requirements list, along with a few that are not even on it. You have the soothing orange backlight of the keys, and not distractingly illuminating the whole key either, just the letter in the center of the matt-black mini-monolith. This also makes it much easier to read the key in the dim darkness of your den. A nicely positioned LCD unit, while not completely necessary for gaming, does have some advantages. It is capable of displaying stats, windows info and media related activities. Four soft buttons underneath allow you to select an LCD option defined by a program.

We have been following pretty much every new cordless laser set releases from Logitech since 2005. As Logitech releases a new set every year, we are generally very impressed with pretty much all of them -- what makes it truly interesting is that, despite the fact that they are 'just' keyboards and mice, Logitech still manages to innovate in every successive release that makes their products convincing enough for a lot of people to upgrade from their existing set, yet retaining the originality and usability factor of the keyboard and mouse itself. What we are trying to say is making changes and improvements are one thing, but some companies ruin their products in the progress of modification. Logitech is certainly not within this category. As a new year arrives, so does Logitech with their latest Logitech MX5500 Revolution cordless laser set. Combined with the legendary Logitech MX Revolution cordless laser mouse, as well as a brand new Bluetooth keyboard, how does this keyboard and mouse set stack up against their previous releases? Let's check it out.

The G9 mouse from Logitech is by no means the most affordable mouse; in fact the Microsoft sidewinder offers a similar feature set for a bit less. That said when it comes to features the G9 goes above and beyond in several areas. It offers higher resolution optics, finer weight adjustments (4 grams vs. Microsoft's 5 grams), adjustable grips for greater comfort, and the unique profiling software with onboard storage means you create your settings once and then you can take them anywhere your mouse goes. The crazy durability ratings are a plus but honestly I wouldn't expect anyone to be using a mouse beyond a year or two at most, so if anything that great durability means that this mouse will undoubtedly be a great hand me down when you go out and get Logitech's next great mouse in 2010.

Devices like Logitech MX Air are not very popular or very profitable. But noblesse oblige, Logitech can afford it, so why not? This mouse is not the first concept from this company. It's hard to say whether this device will survive in the market, but it's certainly interesting and very unusual.

I don't know what the phrase "gaming peripherals" means to you, but to many technology enthusiasts it usually means an overdone combination of odd colors, excessively distracting LEDs, tasteless designs, and equipment built with pages over pages of compromises in the name of 'gaming'. However, equipment slapped with the gaming label doesn't actually guarantee poor quality all the time. The Logitech G51 surround sound speakers are designed and marketed as gaming speakers, but how does this 5.1 set fit into the category of daily usage and real life applications for stuff such as music in addition to audio positioning in games?

Logitech's Harmony division have put a lot of of effort into the One, so we put it to the test to see if it all paid off. In addition to the comfortable design and individually contoured buttons, the One features a large LCD screen, support for over 5,000 brands, a stylish charger and a respectable price tag.

Today we are taking a look at the new Logitech Cordless Desktop MX5500 Revolution. This is the first cordless desktop from Logitech to include the Revolution mouse in a cordless design. The mouse is where the Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5500 Revolution shines with a MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse. The mouse features the hyperfast scroll wheel that the Revolution line of mice is famous for. The Bluetooth mini receiver can be used as a Bluetooth hub as well.

Logitech has recently announced a new product in its line of gaming mice. According to the odd numbering tradition, it has been named G9. The well-balanced design is coupled with several engineering, technical, and design innovations. Let's review them one by one.

Already a force to be reckoned within the gaming mice niche (as the previously reviewed G9mice can attest), Logitech is trying its hand on the gaming keyboard market - for the second time. Their G15 gaming keyboard is being re-released with a new design, fewer programmable keys and more support for popular games like World of Warcraft. It's a hybrid product - to use the word that's making waves in the automobile industry - since it can be used either for gaming or for serious work, without the need of changing keyboards each time you want to play or have to do some spreadsheets. The programmable keys can be assigned to gaming functions (spellcasting, changing weapons, and invoking powers) or to open media players and check the email. And the LCD display is back from the previous version, allowing the user to see relevant gaming information (health bar, ammunition capacity) and which MP3 is being played.

The Harmony One can control up to 15 home theater and home automation devices. All you need to know about your components to program them into the remote is the brand and model number. You choose the brand from a drop down list with a huge amount of choices, there were companies listed I had never heard of before. After choosing the brand you put in the model number and you are ready to program.
