Most of potential customers are faced with simple question "Which graphics card to buy for 100EUR and get reasonable gaming performance?". While 100EUR doesn't seem to be enough for most of today's graphics cards, we've decided to test PowerColor's HD 2600 XT 256MB GDDR3 and see if it's possible to get decent frame rate in popular games. With overclocked C2D E6300 processor, we managed to get surprisingly good frame rate in most of games we've played with PowerColor's card.

PowerColor has a nice card here, though it is outperformed by some of the high-end NVIDIA graphics cards. However, ATI fans looking for the fastest product ATI has right now, the PowerColor HD 2900 XT is it. The PowerColor HD 2900 XT shares the same feature set as the ATI HD 2900 XT that we tested previously. The core frequency is 740MHz, and the memory clock is 1650MHz. The same 80nm fabrication process is used and what we see here is the same exact ATI HD 2900 XT that I reviewed previously with some PowerColor stickers and different packaging.

Powercolor's Radeon HD 2400 Pro uses AMD's new RV610 GPU with 256 MB of DDR2 memory. With its special video acceleration features and low-profile PCB design the card seems to be a good choice for small form factor media PC systems.

You would think that the Radeon X1950PRO would just about be discontinued, with the new mid-range graphics cards from Nvidia offering Direct X 10 and the HD 2600 just around the corner, why would you even bother looking at the AMD DX9 counterpart? Well the new Nvidia cards come with an increased price tag and do not seem to offer the punch that the last generations do in DX 9 games. If you are not looking at jumping onto the DX 10 bandwagon straight away the X1950PRO and 7900GS are still very real examples of mid-range graphics cards you would consider buying.

The PowerColor Radeon HD 2900 XT arrived Technic3D. The new Graphic Card with R600 Chip from AMD better than the NVIDIA High-End Graphic Cards? Technic3D will see that, with Overclocking, in the following Review.

PowerColor has put together an excellent offer for those looking to balance performance, price, and noise level. The X1550 512MB SCS comes with dual DVI connectors, which is very important with the popularity of dual LCD configurations, and a custom cooler that effectively reduces the cards heat without adding an ounce of noise.

At a first glance, the fins on PowerColor's Radeon X1950 Pro SCS3 heatsink look a bit like some kind of grill when they're laid down flat. Maybe there's room for a bit of a fire under the heatsink fins, making it ideal for flame grilling your meat. Despite this being the case, we sadly didn't get the chance to test PowerColor's Radeon X1950 Pro SCS3 as a barbeque. Being the bunch of geeks that we are, we didn't have any streaks of bacon in the office fridge while we were testing. Hopefully, next time, we'll remember to pop to the supermarket on the way to work.

Part of the irony of this, though, is because the PowerColor X1550 is an entry-level card, it very rarely actually makes full use of the 512MB of dedicated graphics memory: the rest of the card can't exactly keep up. If you're hoping to achieve the same kinds of results as cards that cost three or four times the asking price of the $99 X1550, you're going to be sorely disappointed. By contrast, if you're a light gamer or you're willing to run your first-person shooters and other graphic intense games at less than their maximum capable resolutions and frame rates, the PowerColor X1550 will certainly save you a few bucks while still being able to do an adequate, budget-minded job.

Like many people around the world, it wasn't too long ago when I celebrated Chinese New Year. This year marked the year of the pig and the celebrations were bigger than ever. Many companies capitalize on these events by either launching new products and PowerColor has done exactly that.

The PowerColor X1650 XT 256MB AGP Video Card breathed some new life into a solid system that really only shows its age due to AGP graphics being featured. Performance in benchmarks and many games was better than expected, and showed that there really is no reason to retire a system simply due to the fact that it doesn't support PCI-Express.

Do you need a new graphic card? For about 150? you can have a X1950Pro, that comes with excellent performances for his price. We tested the model signed by PowerColor, that uses an Accelero X2, the well-known, efficient and silent cooling system by Arctic Cooling. Thanks to this improved cooling solution the card offers good performances in overclock, superior to those possible with stock cooling system.

The emergence of Windows Vista on the 31st of January this year proved to change the PC industry by an amount greater than any prior versions of Windows from Microsoft. Although many current computers will be able to run the OS without issues, older computers or more budget oriented systems utilizing integrated graphics may not run Aero as well as systems with higher performance and dedicated graphics. How will users looking for upgrade in regards to improving the unique Vista graphics experience, but not interested in playing the latest 3D games, upgrade their computers? Cost is the primary factor here -- and today we will take a close look at PowerColor's offer of a budget friendly ATI Radeon X1550 based graphics card.

PCSTATS reviews the budget oriented Powercolor X1550 512MB PCI Express videocard for basic Windows Vista compatibility. You do not have to blow a lot of money on a new videocard if you don't play games. PowerColor has put together a package that allows you to fully take advantage of all the visual goodies Microsoft Windows Vista has to offer at a fair price.

PowerColor has always produced quality video cards at good prices with all the features that the chipset they are based upon offers. The PowerColor X1550 512MB is no different in that regard. Despite being more or an entry level, budget orientated solution, the X1550 512MB comes with dual DVI connectors which is so very important with the popularity of the LCDs and the fact that so many people run dual LCDs now. It is nice to see dual DVI connections instead of a 1 and 1 type setup we might see on other X1550 brands.
