Obsidian Entertainment is renowned for its role, the most known projects are likely to be Knights of the Old Republic and Neverwinter Nights 2nd Nun wagt sich das Studio an ein neues Setting. Now the studio ventured to a new setting. Geheimagenten in einem RPG, dass das am Ende ein Action-Rollenspiel wird, d?rfte klar sein. Intelligence agents in an RPG, that the end of an action-RPG is on, should be clear. Der grf?te Konkurent d?rfte Mass Effect 2, dass ebenfalls storylastig und mit viel Action gespickt ist. The most likely competitor to Mass Effect 2, that is also peppered with lots of action and storylastig.

It was the best and still is the best. If you're serious about the business of pretending to be a football manager then FM2008 is the game for you, there's nothing more to it than that.

Why is Football Manager one of the UK's best loved franchises? Don?t they just involve shuffling through dozens of spreadsheets and reams of text and then simply watching a graphically feeble simulation of the beautiful game? Let's take a look at the latest iteration...

While it may not be the most mainstream friendly fighting game out there, if you're serious about your counters and combos, Virtua Fighter 5 is a must to check out.

The Phantasy Star series has rightfully earned a place in the gaming hall of fame. First the initial run of Megadrive games proved instrumental in first introducing Western audiences to the joys of the Japanese RPG (not to mention the superb Master System original - ed.), then Phantasy Star Online showed that online role-playing and consoles could mix. Nothing Phantasy Star Universe could do can mar either of these achievements, or the Phantasy Star name. But Sonic Team's latest effort certainly tries its best.

Now, with the Wii, Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz sits in a similar position. If you wanted a game emblematic of both the promise of Wii and of the challenges it offers developers, you'd be hard-pushed to find anything more representative. Cut from the same cloth as its GameCube predecessors, and unable to count on vastly upgraded visuals for effect, it's a game whose whole worth rests on the way it can utilise an oblong chunk of plastic containing a selection of motion-sensitive controls: the Wii remote.

Whether you enjoy turn based strategy, and building a mighty nation, or just enjoy some quick paced RTS action that requires thought and planning, Medieval 2 has something for everyone. I have found myself many nights, playing campaign mode, and saying what all gamers have said to themselves at one time or another, "just one more turn, then I'll go to sleep." There is so much to do within this game, so many different means to rise to power or take power from your enemies, I'd be fairly certain that this game will hold the interest of its players until the next in the series comes out, and possibly even beyond that.

Hockey has never had a management series like this. NHLEHM 2005 is wonderfully detailed, full of depth, and - despite a couple of minor quirks - tremendous fun. Hockey has been Football/Championship Manager-ed and I have a strong feeling that millions of people stateside are slowly beginning to realise just what a wonderful thing that is...
