"Today for review I?ve got another NAS Box, this one is the newest one from Synology called the DS210+. This NAS box comes with plenty of features packed into like DLNA for instance, but what really sets this apart from other boxes is the fact that it has built-in 256bit hard encryption. the DS210+ is aimed at small businesses and professionals, but there?s no reason a home users couldn?t fully utilize it as it has all of the features for home users and then the addition of those that businesses would appreciate. In this review you?ll find quite a bit about the DS210+ with pictures and many screenshots, and I?ve compared it to a couple other NAS boxes to see how it performs. So read on? "

Storing and sharing multimedia files is a top priority in the home market, and the DS210j has those needs covered by providing a DLNA media server, iTunes server, audio station, download station, and various other features."

The power supply is the foundation of any computer. Without it, all that expensive, high-performance gear just sits idle. You can go without a case. Some people do. However, none of those bells and whistles are going to make a peep, if you don't have a power supply. Not only that, but you should never skimp on your power supply. I've seen more than a few computers taken out by a failing PSU. I've even seen one catch fire at a Lan Party I was attending. The site of a grown man crying isn't pretty. It is especially ugly when all of his friends are playing video games and making fun of him. This is the age of digital media and mass storage. Digital downloading is present in many homes via sites like iTunes and Rhapsody. Many people have digital cameras and high definition video cameras. We need massive storage capacities in order to save the large formats raw or in jpeg. Let's not forget about the large amounts of space these video camera video files can take up. You're going to need a place to keep all that data. That device is the Synology DS209 which we will be reviewing next.

Synology has become well-known over the years for producing some of the highest-quality NAS boxes on the planet, some of which we've taken a look at in the past, and the new DS209+ is no exception. Though expensive, it has a huge feature-set and superb performance to back it up, which makes it a good buy for anyone with a fairly lenient budget.

Time is money in the SMB and Corporate Enterprise sector, and anything that can cost less while saving time is sure to be a popular commodity. The Synology Cube Station CS407 4-Bay SATA Gigabit NAS is a gigabit network appliace which offers more features and functionality than most Windows Server 2003 R2 domain controllers... for less than the price of the Server Operating System! Benchmark Reviews gives this Network Attached Storage server a full host of tests as we uncover the value inside.

I've had the wonderful opportunity to toy with the Synology DiskStation DS207+ these past few days and I have to tell you that it is world's better than any external hard drive I have ever used. From serving as a multimedia hub to backing up all your vital data, this is probably one of the best backup solutions you can get. It's so good, in fact, that it is a device designed more for small business and corporate applications rather than homes and small workgroups.

As a reviewer, I get my hands on nice equipment from time to time. Many of the products I've reviewed in the past have found permanent homes in my computer room. As I'm a slave to staying on the bleeding edge, these products will be given away or sold to gather money for upgrades. Every now and then, a product comes along that I could never dream of parting ways from. The Synology DS-107+ arrived at my house a few weeks ago and it will never leave it again, unless I do. The DS-107+ is a Network Attached Storage unit with many innovative features like Gigabit Ethernet, Windows ADS authentication, USB printer sharing, dynamic website hosting, and data backup. Synology's website categorizes the DS-107+ as a small business solution; but at just over $300, it's affordable enough for most power users. Considering everything this unit can do, it is well worth the price.

Benchmark Reviews recently had the opportunity to test the Synology Disk Station DS-207+ SATA Gigabit NAS (Network Attached Storage) device. The basic premise behind the NAS box started out as a fairly simple one, allow networked client computers easy access to shared files across the network without the need for a full blown server. While this may sound simple, the NAS boxes of the past have been plagued with horrid performance in the speed department. I should place a heavy emphasis on "past" because recently that has all changed, and the idea of tolerating slow transfer speeds from a NAS box is just not going to fly anymore, especially with the arrival of products like the DS207+. I guess I just spoiled any suspense as to how the DS207+ performs. This is one incredible little box.

The average price I can find for the DS107+ is about $330. This seems like an amazingly good deal as far as I'm concerned. It's external storage with gigabit Ethernet, a web server, iTunes server, backup utility for Cameras and USB drives. Plus the (near as I can tell), unique internal bit torrent download client that you can use from a remote location. It's not so high priced that a small home business or family with a home network and a couple computers can't afford it. With 500GB drives around $100, it's a very cost effective solution.
