I also spent quite a bit of time gaming on the Viewsonic 42-inch N4261W LCD HDTV via my PS3. The TV has a response time fast enough that I never noticed any ghosting while gaming, or at any other time for that matter. The only issues I had with the Viewsonic 42-inch N4261W LCD HDTV was the lack of a third HDMI port and the on-board speakers lacking in the bass department.

Back in January at CES we first saw the VX2255wmb and I instantly wanted one. Its sleek design and integrated 1.3-megapixel really made it stand out from other monitors. Also the VX2255wmh version comes in a pearl white, which Mac fans will enjoy. Today will are looking at the VX2255wmb version which is black and features a 1680X1050 native resolution, 5ms response time, and integrated speakers as well as the integrated 1.3-megapixel camera. Let's see if it's the perfect LCD for you!

Computer monitors are slowing morphing into multi-purpose displays. Viewsonic's VX2435wm (572x244x510mm, 8kg) is a prime example. Not only does the 24.1-inch widescreen display support regular computer inputs, but it also accommodates HDMI (HDCP compliant), component video and S-Video inputs, making the multi-talented display excellent value if you want to connect a Blu-Ray/HD-DVD drive or a next-generation videogames console. And thanks to the integrated stereo speakers, the Viewsonic VX2435wm (Best Current Price: £465) looks and feels more like a regular TV than a computer monitor.

The Viewsonic VX2255wmb with its integrated webcam is an all in one solution to the VOIP or video chatting consumer. With a rather simple setup, in minutes you can have your monitor properly setup, recording video or chatting with your friends online. I do have to admit, the functionality does get rather handy when the situation arises, but this monitor does need some polish before I would personally lay my money down to purchase it.

Our sample is the piano-key white edition, the VX2255wmh, while there's also a piano black edition with the 'wmb' model suffix. If anything we prefer a black finish, but glossy white isn't without its appeal and Apple users will certainly appreciate the potential synergy. For its part this ViewSonic isn't as ornate as the rather overpriced Apple displays, but the design is still attractive.

ViewSonic has done some good things with this 24" widescreen monitor. Most importantly, image quality, though not flawless, is very good, with strong colour reproduction and a bright display. It's in design however, that it lets itself down, with a disappointing level of stand adjustability that pales in comparison to its competitors.

Today we are having a look at the ViewSonic PJ258D iPod Projector. This projector fits neatly into the ViewSonic line of iPod connectivity devices and allows you to watch your iPod movies and TV shows on a large screen. ViewSonic packed some very nice specs into the ViewSonic PJ258D projector. Brightness is rated at 2000 lumens making it quite bright and easy to watch in rooms with lots of light. The unit utilizes DLP technology for improved color and sharper graphics. One of the cool features of the ViewSonic PJ258D projector is that you can simply unplug it and go; you don't have to go through a lengthy cool down process.

One can't help but feel slightly ambivalent about ViewSonic. In many regards its monitors have a great pedigree, but it has always suffered in the knowledge that the likes of Samsung, Dell and BenQ seem to punch just a little too high for comfort. But, that's no reason to dismiss ViewSonic out of hand and this 24in LCD has all the raw attributes to be a very good monitor.

Are widescreen monitors only good for movies? Does the extra real estate really make you more productive? Are games more impressive on a 16:10 screen? To answer these questions, we take a look at Viewsonics VX2025WM 20.1 inch widescreen LCD monitor.

As I personally see it, Viewsonic had great intentions to make a monitor that would be perfect for the iPod user. With the iPod dock and the integrated speakers, your iPod purchase does indeed have more functionality other than just a portable media device when you purchase this monitor. The functionality is there but there are some wrinkles that need to be pressed out...

ViewSonic is a name that when we hear it we think of monitors. One of my first monitors was a ViewSonic. Today we will be taking a look at ViewSonic's VX2235wm 22-inch HD Widescreen LCD Monitor. Any display you get these days should be widescreen, the VX2235wm is not only widescreen it offers a 5ms response time, 700:1 contrast ratio, and integrated speakers. All of these features are great for gaming, movies, and just basic computers use. So let's take a look.

What really sets the Viewsonic VX2245wm 22" LCD apart from the other displays in the size and price class is the integrated iPod dock. The sound quality with the iPod dock is decent, you won't mistake it for a high-end home stereo, but it does sound good. It is undeniably convenient to be able to dock and charge your iPod right on your display and if you are into downloading movies and TV shows to your iPod, you will love this display.

ViewSonic's latest LCD monitor range puts even greater emphasis on ergonomic considerations as well as other needs of employees and employers. Designed to significantly enhance the spectrum of VG monitor users - from the traditional graphics enthusiast to all business users and for all applications - at a price point that has previously only been seen in other vendors at the entry level, it's a solid option for employees and employers alike. Home users will also get good value, but image quality and connectivity can be bettered if you're looking for a premium display for graphics work or gaming.

Viewsonic went all out on connectivity with the N4251w 42" LCD HDTV giving it three HDMI connectors that support HDCP which is fantastic. Those not using HDMI will be glad to hear that you also get coax, composite RCA, component HD and S-Video connectors as well. A 3.5 mm mini stereo audio in/out also allows you to use headphones or connect your PC sound output to the TV speakers. You also get an SPDIF out for digital audio.

All in all, the VG2230WM is a reasonable monitor at a reasonable price. If you want better quality, you'll spend the same amount of money for a smaller panel or more for the same size panel. If you want to save money, you can hack off a few quid and get the Iiyama. But overall, this is a good all-round buy.
