"Throughout the reviewing and testing, there wasn't really a whole lot I could pick as a problem with this cooler. It's cheap, quiet, cost effective, built well and best of all, it performs just like any other premier coolers I have tested on the market."

"Sunbeamtech has released a new USB 3.0 version of its popular Airbox 3.5" External SATA Enclosure which we have for review today. In addition to the Airbox, Sunbeamtech also offers a 2.5"/3.5" USB 3.0 docking station and a dual-port USB 3.0 PCI-E 1x expansion card. The Airbox USB 3.0 enclosure is identical to their eSATA version with the exception of the interface. It is an aluminum body, single 3.5" drive external enclosure featuring an 8cm blue LED cooling fan and detachable stand for optional vertical orientation."

In the past week months we have taken a look at some pretty nice power supplies. Many of which are still hanging around to the lab serving various task. Our next power supply looks to join the ranks of this units still staying around. The Strider Plus ST750F-P is Silverstone's first 80Plus Silver power supply. The unit is fully modular something the previous Strider Element was not. These two features along will make the new Strider Plus appealing to the masses.

"With a pretty serious lineup of products already out from Scythe, they decided to rethink and redesign to bring life to a name that has been with Scythe for many years. The Samurai cooler was a cantankerous looking cooler developed in the days when there was little thought of overclocking with the jumpers, or modifying the sockets for more volts. As the needs of users changed, Scythe rolled with the punches and developed the Samurai Z. This was a very basic, two heat-pipe cooler and I use that term loosely. By today?s standards, those two pipes ran to the outer edges and would have improved cooling then, but it couldn?t handle the TDP of today?s processors. With the Samurai Z there was even improvement made and a revision ?b? cooler was soon out on shelves.
Even with all the working and reworking of the Samurai coolers, Scythe saw ways to improve the idea even further. This time around the Samurai gets more pipes and a very unique mounting setup, which has moved up to include all the newest sockets from both AMD and Intel. Since its inception, the Samurai coolers have never taken up loads of room, as do tower coolers. At that time it was more the normal size for coolers. Today it offers those with a SFF or HTPC chassis; yet another candidate to cool your machines. With all the new goods and redesign, Scythe has also adapted the naming as to differentiate this against the previous versions. Today we will be taking a look at the Samurai ZZ from Scythe. Let?s get it mounted to the T.E.C.C. and see just how well it does."

portfolio but if the drive is also able to convince concerning
performance that's what the following review is going to show.

?The Sapphire Radeon 5550 Ultimate is a low-power, passively cooled, budget graphics card, marketed to consumers who may be interested in something for their HTPC or the occasional foray into some light gaming. It's almost the baby of the 5000 series Radeon cards, with the 5450 sitting one rung lower, but continues to attempt to offer good value for those people with a very moderate budget.?

Network storage is a concept that many people use without a second thought in corporate environments, but what about at home? Count the number of PCs in your house and tell me it wouldn't be nice to have one central location for backups, video and music storage, and everything else. All that and much more is readily available in a Network Attached Storage server. The QNAP TS-259 Pro NAS server uses a custom Linux distro and a powerful, energy-efficient 1.66GHz Intel Atom D510 CPU with 1GB of DDR2-800 memory to eliminate any potential bottlenecks. Dual Intel Gigabit Ethernet controllers allow failover safety and teaming, while two SATA drive bays offer single disk, JBOD, and RAID 0/1 configurations. Benchmark Reviews examines the QNAP TS-259 Pro in detail here, and tests its performance against a wide variety of NAS servers. We also have a pleasent surprise for Win7 users.

"Patriot is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year and since their 1985 inception, the California based company has grown to become a global company with a solid reputation for providing quality memory and storage products. They didn't jump into the SSD market full force as some others have, but they have taken a more conservative approach instead. They are adding to their SSD lineup this month, releasing a value line of SSD's carrying the moniker of Zephyr - a name with roots to Greek mythology. The Zephyr line offers capacities of 64GB and 128GB at $184 & $358, respectively, and can only be found at Amazon.com for the first few weeks of availability. There is also a 256GB version but we have not received word on pricing yet. They all carry the newer JMicron JMF612 controller..."

"The Kingston HyperX LoVo memory kit was great to review as we learned a number of things during testing the memory kit. The first is that not all motherboards have DDR3 (vDIMM) voltage settings that go low enough to support memory kits like this. This is an easy fix by motherboard manufactures, but it will require a BIOS update in order to support super low voltages like 1.25V. The second thing that we learned is that memory voltages and memory clock frequencies play a serious role in power consumption! To be honest we never looked that close at power consumption at various clock frequencies when keeping the vDIMM and memory timings constant. It was an eye opener to how big of a power consumption difference we were seeing at the wall when going from just 1333MHz with 1.24V to 1600MHz with 1.24V..."

"Dell has recently released their refreshed Adamo XPS, a machine which follows a similar design ethic to the original but aims to increase performance to ensure it is competitive in the current market. Today we have an Adamo XPS on our test bench and will see, in a selection of real world tests, what the latest high end Dell machine can do."

"Today on our test bench we have CoolITs latest product, the ECO A.L.C. which shares the same design ethic as the Domino but revises many aspects in the hope of a product which will be preferable to the H50. We will be running each through a selection of tests on our Intel Core i7-980X CPU to find out which is the best choice for those wanting a simple, easy to use liquid cooler."
