The Xclio 188A is one of the best budget chassis' I've worked with. Not only is this case very classy looking, the cooling is superb and there is plenty of room inside for most systems. The 250mm fan does its job quietly and efficiently and the integrated fan speed controller is a welcome feature.

Are widescreen monitors only good for movies? Does the extra real estate really make you more productive? Are games more impressive on a 16:10 screen? To answer these questions, we take a look at Viewsonics VX2025WM 20.1 inch widescreen LCD monitor.

The MOTORIZR Z3 might have the look and feel of the RAZR or SLVR phones, but offers a cool design that slides open to reveal the keyboard.

For those who truly need such a power supply, the Olympia 1000W's rock solid rails, rugged design and massive size truly communicate that this is no ordinary power supply.

What has 80 amps of current, four 12 volt rails, and looks really sexy? If you guessed the new Ultra 800 watt X-Finity you're absolutely correct. Ultra has made some great products in the past and still do today. Products such as cases, case lighting, and fans for modders as well as quite a few other products such as MP3 players, tools, and even barebones kits. The new X-Finity sure looks sweet right out of the box with its anodized black shell and silver cables. Let's see if the performance backs up the great looks. Today I have the pleasure of reviewing the latest X-Finity PSU that Ultra was nice enough to send us, the X-Finity? 800 Watt PSU w/ Active PFC and, as you will see, she sure does put out. :)

The two single largest features of the AMD 690G and nVIDIA GeForce 7050PV chipsets are native HDMI output and High Definition Content Protection (HDCP). Both chipsets are currently AMD only affairs, but with the extremely competitive pricing of AMD's Socket AM2 chips it's the perfect opportunity to build that small home theatre PC you've always wanted to have. After all it would be nice to watch all those illegally downloaded bit torrent movies on something larger than a computer monitor. If you're going to rip movies, you might as well watch them in HD, in full surround sound, and get the best bang for your buck. ;-)

Ever heard of Zaward? Nor me, but today I have one of their heatpastes; Super Thermal Grease HSC-G. While it may sound like a cheesy musical, lets see how it performs.

I have planned and built systems ranging from media centers all the way through to highly advanced application specific servers and in so doing have come into contact with more different types and brands of PSU you than you can shake a stick at. The NX-8060 is one of the best PSUs in its class that I have had the pleasure of using. The price tag is not through the roof for this specification PSU and the performance is excellent.

The Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6was a fun motherboard to review. It was quick to set up, as I have found most Intel chipset boards to be, and it was just plain easy to use. Gigabyte did a wonderful job with this board. The Gigabyte GA-965P-DQ6 is a wonderful update the the first release boards that Gigabyte had. The features and layout on this board are outstanding, leaving really no room for desiring anything else...

Eclipse confirmed our first thought: it represents an interesting solution reaching high performance levels, without forgetting about innovation. Its design improves inner-case air flow, providing more air for memories, graphics card (on the back) and PWR section on the mainboard. Unluckily our sample suffered some problems on jumper configuration, being unable to reach full speed, but the fan at 1800rpm is very silent and we're sure that PWM control enhances the possibilities offered by Eclipse. Priced around 50?, it can be a good choose for our system.

Not only have the devices themselves got a lot smaller and faster, but these days there is a lot of extra functionality - such as encryption or the ability to run applications from your memory key - and you can even get ruggedized drives for those of us that have a habit of dropping things. With Windows Vista a new use for USB flash drives was introduced - ReadyBoost - and we are going to put the Flash Voyager GT to the test in that to see if it makes a difference. We will also be measuring the drive's performance in real world file copy tests and using HD Tech and comparing it against two other drives, the previous-generation Flash Voyager, and the SanDisk Cruzer Micro. So let us move on to the results and see if the Corsair Flash Voyager GT lives up to expectations.

After meeting up with the nice guys at Gigabyte, we were kindly shipped one of their laptop coolers. Designed to be completely silent, and easy to use, the G-Pad shows promise. Coupled with a storage bag, it should be your laptops new best friend.

Most of us never really think about the power quality our systems are fed. We use simple power strips or surge protectors, and generally never give the issue another thought.. That is, until you have a power surge or blackout, and lose that important article or term paper you've been working on for the past 12 hours. However, power outages and surges are not the only concern facing computer users, as poor power sources (low quality wiring, old homes, etc) can also create problems with fluctuations, which can damage you hardware or corrupt your data.

The A-DATA MyFlash PD16 is a very solid and spacious USB 2.0 memory device with capacities of up to 16 GB. It features a lifetime warranty and can be used for Vista ReadyBoost. The aluminum/plastic construction makes it a bit heavier than other memory sticks, but also adds to the durability. We take an all around look and benchmark the PD16 to see if it performs as good as it looks.
