I am really not sure how Abit managed to release this board with such serious BIOS issues. Thankfully, the latest BIOS fixes most of the serious problems, but it doesn't fix all of them - the KN9 SLI simply isn't bullet proof in its current state. This was further highlighted when we ran the bit-tech stress test.

ABIT has done the job well with the KN9-SLI motherboard. The board retails on Newegg for $130 USD, the price point is excellent. The performance is below that of the nForce 590 SLI boards that we have tested, but those boards are generally the highest performing and have the advantage of LinkBoost technology, which boosts PCI Express frequency by up to 20%. In the overall the KN9 delivers adequate performance for the 570 line, but is not as feature filled as some of the other AM2 boards we have seen thus far.
