Being the best in gaming mice is where Razer has earned its reputation, and they continue to work hard on staying number one with each new mouse. The Razer DeathAdder is their most recent mouse to help retain the throne.

Razer has been making professional gaming gear for a while now. As far as mice goes we have seen the Copperhead, Diamondback, and Krait from Razer. All of these mice have been very successful and all Razer mice have had a big following. Today we will be looking at Razer's latest gaming mouse the DeathAdder. We had a chance to check it out during CES so we were excited to get our hands on it.

To my aesthetic sense, the DeathAdder is Razer's best looking mouse to date. It's like the anti-Logitech mouse, where Logitech generally places rubber on the sides and slick plastic on top, Razer reverses that with the Adder. As I wrote this review I found myself wanting to call it the BlackAdder which would seem appropriate considering the color scheme. I'm not sure how Rowan Atkinson and the BBC would feel about that though.

The Razer DeathAdder is an exceptionally well-designed mouse with an 1800DPI 3G infrared sensor, five buttons, 16-bit data channel, and a variety of other features. In this review, we have our thoughts on this new Razer mouse after having experimented with it for several weeks.

Razer has always been known to produce some of the best mice and sensors on the market. They established their reputation with the Razer Diamondback which has now found a worthy successor. The Razer DeathAdder is the best mouse we ever tested, in both low sensitivity and high sensitivity. The bundled control panel is a breeze to work with and boasts a huge number of features. With a price of $59.95 this mouse also offers an excellent price/performance ratio.

Rollerballs, optical and even laser mice are now old school, making way for Razer's latest mouse; the Death Adder which features an infra red optical sensor. It's wide, ergonomic and looks a lot like Microsoft's Intelli mice. Has Razer changed? Read on to find out?
