The construction is top-notch, it's not too heavy, and it's loaded with features. I like that it's symmetrical without sacrificing comfort. There's a lot of quality design involved with this surprising little input device. To top it all off, Set Point adds a degree of flexibility completely absent from other mice, the sort of flexibility that you might not be willing to give up once you've got it.

The trouble with many notebook mice is that they lack the same level of functionality as their desktop counterparts. When taking on a smaller form factor, these smaller mice tend to lose extra buttons and things that make full-sized mice so much nicer. Thankfully, this is not the case with the VX Nano. With the exception of the zoom slider, the VX Nano can do just about everything that the larger VX Revolution can do. It?s almost up there with the MX, despite being about half the size.

We have hardcore gamer mice with plenty of customizable buttons and super-sensitive laser tracking, ergonomic mice that offer great comfort and ease of use, all-purpose mice that are suitable for most needs and even mobile mice, designed for use with your notebook while you are out of the office on business or maybe even on vacation. Logitech has mice that fall into every category mentioned, and today we will be taking a look at the VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks, a portable solution that promises to pack a lot of features in a very small footprint.

It's amazing how Logitech innovates. Every year between August and November, new Logitech products hit the market. While it is still 'just those keyboards and mice', Logitech implements an attractive force with each year's new products that attracts consumers with incredible power and temptation to just buy one and bring one home. The release of second generation "Revolution" series from Logitech includes the Logitech VX Nano -- sans the 'Revolution' tag, but still carries the trademark of the Revolution series. Its unique click/frictionless wheel is still to be found on this product, but what's so unique about this laptop mouse is not just about to be limited to the wheel that sets it apart -- what makes this mouse unique is the 'Nano' receiver, as depicted in the name. Logitech hopes to meet laptop users half-way when it comes to convenience -- it's not a Bluetooth mouse; but not every laptop has Bluetooth either -- the Nano RF receiver is designed to stay in your laptop's USB port without interfering with the laptop bag when packed inside. Isn't that amazing? Well, we'll tell you everything we think about this new Logitech mouse in our review today.

When I first got wind of Logitech's latest notebook mouse, I couldn't help but be excited. The VX Nano sports the smallest USB receiver I've ever seen, finally a receiver I could just leave in and forget about.

Billed as an ultra-portable mouse with a surprisingly small USB receiver, the VX Nano is marketed mainly toward laptop users.

If you are a fan of the VX Revolution, you will probably like the VX Nano even more. The tiny USB receiver is the highlight of the Nano and the free wheel scroll is great as well. The Logitech VX Nano is a laser mouse with 800 dpi sensitivity and it is able to track accurately on any surface but clear glass and mirrored finishes. The most important feature of the Logitech VX Nano is the tiny USB Nano receiver that is a mere fraction of the size of typical notebook mouse wireless receivers.
