With the "Cosmos 1000&" now readily available, Cooler Master has made a lot of drooling enthusiasts happy, including this one. Although I've had my review sample for a couple months now, I didn't want to sign off on it too early as a winner. Now that the Honeymoon is over, I'm finally able to be a little more objective in my opinion of this truly unique chassis. On with the show!

We're writing to let you all know that we have just posted a new article at HotHardware in which we evaluate Cooler Master's innovative COSMOS S chassis. Like the original COSMOS, the new S variant has what appear to be bar-like handles along both sides of its top and bottom edges. And its general shape is reminiscent of the original COSMOS as well. The COSMOS S, however, has a new titanium and glossy black finish that really stands out and its inputs and ventilation scheme are all somewhat different. Head on over to the site and check it out...

Are you interested in having a system that is a great deal quieter than it was when it came from the factory, then perhaps it is time for you to consider adding a water cooling kit to you computer. Today's water cooling kits cool as good as the best fan and fin heatsinks on the market, and offer you a huge noise reduction. So come on along as we check out two of the big name units, the Cooler Master Aquagate Max and the Thermaltake Bigwater 760i.

Today we are checking out one of the first NVIDIA ESA certified liquid cooling systems on the market. The system is called the Cooler Master Aquagate Max. The only really bad part about this system is that Cooler Master uses simple screw on compression fittings. That means if you ever need to remove the system to change cases you will have to drain the fluid. A few bucks worth of quick connect fittings like Corsair uses in its Nautilus system would have made the Cooler Master Aquagate Max much more user friendly in that respect.

The Real Power Pro 1250 is one of 10 power supplies receiving nVidia's highest SLI rating, for three 8800 Ultras or 8800 GTXs. It also has an 80Plus certification, certified to maintain more than 80% efficiency. Actually, this power supply is rated up to 87% efficiency. What does that mean? A more efficient power supply uses less wall current than a less efficient one, which means less dollars out of your pocket.

The Cooler Master Cosmos S is the "sport" variant of the original Cosmos chassis. Coolermaster has taken various aspects of the Stacker series and fused them with the original Cosmos case. The door is gone and the plastic top has been redesigned to fit a triple radiator of your choice. The new Cosmos S is also made of Aluminum which makes it much lighter.

Real Power Pro is the high-end power supply series from Cooler Master, featuring models from 550 W to 1,250 W. We reviewed the 850 W model (a.k.a. RS-850-EMBA), which features a big 135-mm fan, dual-transformer design and six +12V rails, being targeted to high-end systems featuring three or four video cards. According to Cooler Master this unit was labeled at 50 C and can deliver up to 1,000 W during peaks. Let's see whether this is true or not and also let's take a trip inside this unit.

Cooler Master's Cosmos case made waves last year because of its incredibly silent design, awesome size, and excellent accoutrements. This year, Cooler Master altered the Cosmos design and released a new model: the Cosmos S. Whereas the Cosmos case was a silent beast, the Cosmos S is designed to keep things inside as cold as possible, sacrificing silence for performance. After salivating upon seeing this case in Cooler Master's booth at CES, we had to get our hands on it. ThinkComputers blasts off to explore the unknown regions of this expansive case.

CM Sphere is the latest CPU cooler from Cooler Master, using a very unique design based on a radial fan. This cooler is 100% made of copper, using four heat-pipes and according to Cooler Master it also helps to cool down the components around the CPU, such as the motherboard voltage regulator and the chipset.

Today I'm taking a closer look at the Cooler Master Real Power Pro 750W, which is a non-modular power supply with a 750W continuous load rating. Like all of the Real Power Pro line, the 750W carries a five year warranty, has an 80-plus efficiency certification and is SLI-ready with dual 6 and 8-pin PCIe configurations.

After taking a look at the Cooler Master Hyper 212 and Sphere CPU coolers, I am back to finish up the trifecta by putting the Hyper TX2 through our TECC system. The two previous coolers both suffered from Cooler Master's aging mounting system that requires you to remove the motherboard for all installations. On the TX2, a cooler costing half that of the previous two tested, surprisingly you do not have to remove the motherboard and mounting goes much easier. Let's dig in and see how the lowest priced cooler from the Cooler Master line-up performs against our previously tested heatsinks.

Can a successor be worse than its predecessor? Usually not, since the engineers who make projects of the new model listen carefully to what community has to say and iron out all flaws. Why such an introduction? Is Cosmos-S better or worse than its predecessors?

It did not take Coolermaster long to update their high end chassis, the Cosmos S is based on the Cosmos, but made from aluminum, more cooling options, comes with a massive 200mm fan and has a very unique I/O panel. We compare this S(port) version to the original to see how it stacks up.

The Cooler Master Sphere is unlike any other heatsink you have seen before. By placing a squirrel cage fan directly in the middle of a baseball sized copper ball made of cooling fins, Cooler Master has increased the thermal dissipation area while reducing the overall size of the cooler. The look of the Sphere is top notch, but we are here to evaluate a product on more than looks alone. Now, let us see how the Sphere performs and find out if there is even more than meets the eye with Cooler Master's new heat sink.
