The latest company to come to the 9600GT parade is MSI, and like most other cards we've looked at they've decided to move away from the stock cooler and use their own design. They also figure if they're going to do that, they may as well bump up the speed of the card and see what it's capable of. I feel like we've looked at so many 9600GT cards in such a short period of time that there isn't all that much to say here. The 9600GT has quickly become a popular little offering thanks to its performance not being like that of normal x600GT offerings from NVIDIA in the past.

After refreshing its high-end lineup, ATI has moved to its mid-range, taking the Radeon HD 2600 series and updating it with the latest technologies like Shader Model 4.1 and DirectX10.1. The result is the Radeon HD 3650 and here to represent that today, we have MSI's OC-edition for review.

At the moment, the 3870X2 from AMD is enjoying the top spot in performance when it comes to high-end graphics cards. However, that wasnt enough for MSI who have released an overclocked version of the 3870X2.

After looking at the new 9600GT just the other day, it became clear to us that the HD 3870 really does still have some life in it. It's not dying off anytime soon thanks to the aggressive pricing that has been implemented recently. It did get us thinking though; with an MSI HD 3870 OC sitting around doing nothing, it was time to see what would happen when we put overclocked part up against overclocked part. It's really going to come down to how well the HD 3870 is able to make use of the increased clock speeds that MSI have offered.

Another 7 series board, this time the MSI P7N Platinum. Will it turn out to be just the budget SLI solution you've been waiting for? Take a look

The central feature of this motherboard, which can be used by MSI as a competitive advantage, is alternating graphics and non-graphics slots. So you can build a Quad CrossFire system even with two-slot graphics cards, for example, Radeon HD 3870 with the reference cooler.

Lately we have been reviewing a number of products from MSI, and in this review we are taking a look at yet another product from MSI. This time it is one of their Nvidia based graphics cards, more specifically an 8800GTS with 512mb ram. As the name reveals the MSI NX8800GTS-T2D512E-OC is overclocked from the manufacturer, just like the last graphics card we reviewed from them. The MSI NX8800GTS-T2D512E-OC is packed in an almost square box, with a front dominated by the MSI logo in the left side.

There are not a whole lot of motherboards using the 790FX chipset at the moment, and if we remove the ones equipped with 4 PCI-Express slots which give you the Quad CrossFire opportunity, there are probably only a couple boards out there. Actually I tried searching for reviews of this motherboard, but only came up with a couple news flashes about MSIs release of the motherboard. The reason for this might be the limited spread of AMDs new Phenom processor with 4 cores. Something the motherboard manufactures isn't too happy about.

Today MSI's game has picked up, producing some of the most impressive boards we have seen. The Platinium boards are really impressing us, and today the Diamond has managed to become another high quality contender with just about every feature you're going to want. To this end the P35 Diamond is shipped with a PCI Express x1 Sound Blaster X-Fi audio card. This is the exact same card that Creative sells as their X-Fi audio PCI Express card.

Built around AMD's 790FX chipset, the K9A2 Platinum offers four-way CrossFireX support, in addition to support for HyperTransport 3.0 and PCI Express 2.0, while MSI also throws in some additional customizations of their own to raise the board to "Platinum" status. Whether users are looking to upgrade the foundation of a current Athlon-based system or want to go all out for the full Spider experience, MSI thinks it has a solid candidate on its hands. Head on over to the site to see if they're correct in their assumption...

MSI's latest P7N SLI Platinum arrived in our labs sporting a modified version of NVIDIA's mid-range nForce 750i SLI chipset featuring three PCIe 2.0 graphics slots. Gamers will definitely want to take a look at this, but will be board hold up to our benchmarking scrutiny? Find out inside.

For the first time in a very long time on tweak.dk, we'll take a look at product from MSI. MSI produces everything from laptops to motherboards, barebones and graphics cards. In this review, we take a look at the last mentioned, a graphics card. The graphics card we?re reviewing is an 8800GT with 512MB of RAM which is pre-overclocked from the manufacturer.

So it's easy; we have the HD 3870 X2 in our hands, it's tested and that's probably all that really matters. We're going to have a quick look at the package that MSI have put together, a look over the specifications and then we'll get straight into the benchmarks. As far as features go we?ve got a pretty good line-up; HDMI support, PCI Express 2.0 (but backwards compatible), Dual GPU with Quad GPU support coming and a pre-overclock.

We have already tested the X48 chipset in its DDR2 variant (that's right, because it's a direct descendant of the X38 it keeps the dual mode memory controller); the DDR2 version has already managed to produce some better scores than the X38 DDR2 thanks to its increased FSB support. Today we are moving onto X48 in DDR3 form. MSI has graciously provided us with their new X48 Platinum motherboard which is designed to be an ultra overclockable and feature-rich model. How it stacks up is the subject of today's review.
