SilverStone is a company that needs no introduction. Although they have only been in business since 2003, in that time they have produced some great case designs. In the tradition of the Zeus and Olympia power supplies, with their single, large +12v rail, SilverStone now introduces the next generation of power supply built especially for enthusiasts, the Decathlon.

A Silverstone case with LED lightening in none rectangular front panel? The Kublai series is Silverstone's entry in the Gaming/Enthusiast ATX case market. Build with less expensive materials it aims to find a balance between price, looks and features. We take a look at the KL03 model in this review to see how it stacks up to the competition.

The Silverstone Treasure TS01B is a very unique 2.5" SATA hard drive enclosure. You may not only use it as a plain USB 2.0 powered unit, but may also set it up to safely encrypt your hard drive as well. The two included RFID tags then act as keys to gain access to your data.

SilverStone has several power supply lines ranging from 350 W to 1,200 W and we were very curious to review a product from this manufacturer. For our first review of a SilverStone product, we decided to take a look on a mainstream product, Strider ST50F, which is a 500 W power supply costing only USD 67 at Newegg.com. How this product compares to other units from this power range we reviewed so far? Can it really deliver its rated 500 W? Is this a good product for Average Joe? Let's see.

SilverStone's TJ09 is simply a great case. It is a very high quality, great looking unit that is a joy to work with. Its side ventilation system, mid-level GPU and oversized top exhaust are very unique features that really set it apart from the rest of the crowd. For those who have been stuck working in cramped cases, the TJ09 really opens your eyes to the benefits of extra case real estate.

Today we focus on the SST-MS05 from Silverstone which is the latest in their external drive enclosure line which includes an internal docking bay (requires a free 3.5inch external bay or a 5.25inch bay adapter).

Last September we had our first encounter with the SilverStone Kublai series when reviewing the Kublai KL02. We found that the Kublai series, which is targeted at economically minded consumers, had inherited many traits from SilverStone's flagship Temjin series while costing much less. The build quality of the KL02 chassis was excellent for being a $150 case and it ended up receiving our approval. Following the success of the Kublai KL01 and KL02 cases, SilverStone has released the KL03 as another steel and aluminum chassis, but this time it comes with support for Extended ATX motherboards. In this review, we are looking at the SilverStone Kublai KL03 as we fill it up with dual AMD quad-core Barcelona processors and other high-end hardware.

As 2,5" laptop drives already range up to 320 GB in storage space, in worst case scenario they can contain virtually endless amounts of classified material that in wrong hands can lead to huge problems. Silverstonetek has come up with a nice product aimed at the markets of secure external hard disks - RFID protected TS01B 2,5" hard disk enclosure.

There's a lot to like about the SilverStone KL-02 case. First it is very light, meaning that carrying it around is a breeze. The construction of the case with SECC Steel and aluminum is very solid meaning that the case is not likely to break easily. The KL-02 has plenty of expansion capability with the case having up to 9 5.25" drive bays and a single 3.5" FDD bay. Negatives of the case include the lack of a motherboard tray, the installation of a long video card interfering with the drives and the fact that SilverStone cases are a mildly pricy at $100 USD for this case at most retail or e-tailors. Overall though, it is a good, solid case that is highly available on the market.

Today we will take a look at a very powerful PSU from Silverstone, the Decathlon 1200W. Silverstone have taken the core of a slightly older server-oriented Olympia 1200W PSU, and have re-designed it to suit the requirements of hardcore enthusiasts, thus the 1200W Decathlon was born. Silverstone are renowned among for building products to the highest standards, so with that in mind let us see if the 1200W Decathlon can deliver the goods.

Today I have for review one of Silverstone's newer HTPC series of cases, the Grandia GD02. If you liked the style of the full-size GD01 but were just looking for something a bit smaller, the GD02 might be right up your alley. It's a micro-ATX size case, and like most HTPC enclosures it is designed to blend right into the other devices in your entertainment center, with a brushed aluminum finish on the front, available in either black or silver.

With only a few warts, the positives outweigh the negatives. I love the look and solid feel of the case and the cooling performance is actually quite good and silent. The quick disconnect fan is a very innovative idea that I wouldn't mind seeing used in other cases. The tool less feature in the case, 5.25" bays, are really easy to use and hold the hardware solidly in place. While a purely personal opinion, I think the case has a clean and elegant look to it that would fit in any office or room. In the end Silverstone has a solid case, but could use a boost in a few areas.

SilverStone must be a cool place for an engineer. Not only do they obviously put engineering first, but they don't simply accommodate innovative designs; they make them their staple. Without re-working the same products again and again, SilverStone produces top-shelf enclosures for all possible form factors, from Mini-ITX mobile-on-desktop to Extended-ATX server cases. All elegant, and every one an award-winner.
