Mini PCs have always been a competitive segment, with manufacturers striving to deliver high-quality products that balance compact dimensions with aggressive pricing. Today, we are examining a new entry from Acemagic: the W1 series. This system is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS and features integrated AMD Radeon Graphics. The product is currently available at the official online store for approximately $280.00, depending on the time of purchase and your region. It is important to note that this is a barebone system, meaning you will need to provide your own RAM and NVMe SSD to get it up and running.

The heart of the Acemagic W1 is the AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS. This processor features:

  • 8 Cores / 16 Threads based on the Zen 4 architecture.
  • A boost clock of up to 4.9GHz.
  • Support for up to 54W TDP.
  • Integrated AMD Radeon 780M (RDNA3 architecture) with 12 cores running at 2600MHz.

Regarding expandability, the device supports Dual Channel DDR5 SO-DIMM memory up to 5600MHz (up to 96GB). For storage, it includes two PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 2280 slots, supporting NVMe SSDs up to 4TB. Wireless connectivity is handled by Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The cooling solution is designed to be efficient for the form factor: it draws fresh air from the bottom of the chassis and dissipates heat through the side and rear vents.

The included cooling system draws air from the bottom of the device and dispass produced heat to the left and side area.
