be quiet! apart from the Dark Rock Pro 5, introduces to the market, an entire new product, called Dark Rock Pro Elite, that differs itself from the Dark Rock Pro 5 in several ways.

While Dark Rock Pro 5 is the successor to the award-winning Dark Rock Pro 4, Dark Rock Elite is a completely new product. The new cooler significantly improves upon the performance, features, and usability of the Pro 4. Dark Rock Elite is aimed at users who require the highest performance and airflow, integrating ARGB lighting, a premium design for an elite experience, and an innovative rail system that makes RAM clearance even easier. Dark Rock Pro 5 offers cooling performance at extremely low noise levels on all popular consumer sockets. The cooler is built for maximum compatibility with high-end motherboards and RAM modules and offers an integrated Speed Switch for an inaudible operation or maximum cooling performance.

Dark Rock Elite offers performance and cooling power through cutting-edge fan technology and combines it with an iconic design. The 7 high-performance heat pipes are accompanied by two Silent Wings 135mm PWM fans for maximum air pressure and perfect airflow. These turn up to 2,000 rpm in Performance Mode, unleashing the full power of the cooler, or use Quiet Mode to run virtually inaudibly at an efficient 1500 rpm in super-quiet PC builds. Users can easily choose between the two cooling modes with the integrated Speed Switch.

Dark Rock Elite comes with several exclusive high-end features, such as an innovative front fan mounting rail with adjustable height settings, up to a maximum clearance of 69mm over the second RAM slot. The maximum clearance of the heatsink over the first RAM slot measures a comfortable 63.3mm, while optimal VRM compatibility is accomplished with cut-outs on the edges of the heatsink. Its unique and iconic design with ARGB LEDs on the top cover for endless visual effects and its black coating with ceramic particles for ideal heat transfer make Dark Rock Elite a true eyecatcher in any system.

Additionally, Dark Rock Elite comes with a detachable top cover for easy installation, is compatible with liquid metal thermal paste thanks to its nickel-plated base, and is supported by a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.

Dark Rock Elite and Dark Rock Pro 5 are available in retail as of October 24 at a recommended retail price of $114.90 / €114.90 / £109.99.

- Features

Dark Rock Elite offers unprecedented performance and cooling power with cutting edge fan technology and an iconic design. Join the Elite.

  • 2 Silent Wings 135mm PWM fans for maximum air pressure and perfect airflow
  • Innovative front fan mounting system for maximum usability and RAM compatibility
  • 7 high-performance heat pipes for immensely high cooling power
  • Quiet Mode for virtually inaudible operation and Performance Mode for extraordinary cooling performance via speed switch
  • ARGB LEDs for great visual effects
  • Special black coating with ceramic particles enables perfect heat transfer and elegant look
  • Unmistakable, beefy design makes for an eyecatcher in any system

EXTRAORDINARY COOLING POWER

Dark Rock Elite features 7 high-performance copper heat pipes and 2 Silent Wings fans, specially designed for maximum air pressure and perfect airflow. As a result, this high-end cooler always keeps your CPU at peak performance, especially in heavily overclocked systems and demanding workstations.

SILENT WINGS PWM FANS

2 Silent Wings 135mm PWM fans provide maximum airflow for unprecedented cooling. Although designed for performance, the fans are virtually inaudible at regular speeds. In Quiet Mode, the maximum noise is a mere 25.8dB(A). This is achieved with advanced fluid-dynamic bearings and smooth 6-pole fan motors.

CONVENIENT HANDLING AND USABILITY

The front fan can easily be adjusted in height, making Dark Rock Elite compatible with almost any configuration. Adjusting the fan is a breeze: thanks to the innovative rail system, the fan position can be altered in 5 steps.

SPEED SWITCH

The Speed Switch allows you to choose between 2 modes, each affecting the maximum fan speed and PWM curve. The Quiet Mode provides a maximum fan speed of 1500r/min and is the perfect choice for super-quiet builds. The Performance Mode allows the Silent Wings fans to spin with up to 2000r/min and unleashes Dark Rock Elite’s full power.

IMPRESSIVE LIGHTING AND BEEFY LOOK

The top cover features ARGB LEDs that light up in endless colors, which can be configured with any ARGB controller. Combined with its distinctive design, Dark Rock Elite becomes the highlight of any system and is especially well suited for exclusive showcases. The special black coating with ceramic particles not only adds a visual highlight to the air cooler: it also enables a perfect transfer of heat.

COMPATIBLE WITH LIQUID METAL THERMAL GREASE

Thanks to a nickel-plated base, Dark Rock Elite is compatible with liquid metal thermal grease such as DC2 Pro. The properties of liquid metal compound combined with Dark Rock Elite allow high-end CPUs to perform at even higher levels.
