INcoder
Established in 1996, INcoder focuses on the design and distribution of high-margin, external optical storage drives/players and related accessories. The fast growing Taiwanese company offers stylish products which turn out to be a physical extension to desktop PCs and Notebook PC peripherals.
The company demonstrated new portable external CD-RW drives and CD-RW/DVD combos. The C1 type illustrated below is a very stylish metal combo drive, supporting 24x CD-R writing, 10x rewriting, 24x CD-ROM/R reading and 8x DVD-ROM reading. The drive supports both USB2.0 and IEEE 1394 interfaces for fast and flexible connection to your PC or notebook. The complete retail package includes all the essential cables for easy operation along with a very useful carrying bag and a rubber pad, in order to place and operate your drive in a vertical position, as you can see in the picture below:
The D1 type slim combo drive offers the same specifications as the previous model but comes with a new design with brown leather cover, at a very attractive price.
Another very interesting product is illustrated in the picture below. The "Voyage" MP3 JukeBox player is able to playback MP3, WMA and WAV files, stored on both flash memory and hard disk on a single device. The Voyage is powered by an included battery kit, which is rechargeable through a USB 2.0 interface. A wide range of expansion modules, such as earphones, remote control and FM transmitter make the player a very attractive solution for home and car use. More information about the INcoder products is available in the corresponding hardware reviews of our website.
