The ECW526 follows a similar design and includes the Wi-Fi 7 logo at the front. This is a truly WiFi 7 AP since it uses the Qualcomm Wi-Fi 7 platform (Qualcomm Networking Pro 1220).
Everything is well packaged to protect the product from transportation hazards.
Compared with the entry-level, ECW516L, the ECW526 supports a different mounting mechanism.
Also doesn't include an LED strip at the top, only one LED at the bottom. The device has a 720gr weight, Length: of 7.48" (190 mm), Width: of 7.48" (190 mm), and Height: of 1.55" (39.5 mm).
The based is also different.
And as we can see there is also a reset jack, a DC12V power input, and a 10G PoE port to connect and power up the device.
The EnGenius ECW536 , is the top of the line Wi-Fi 7 Cloud Managed AP, is using Qualcomm Wi-Fi 7 platform (Qualcomm Networking Pro 1220). and supports tri-concurrent 802.11be Wi-Fi 7 architecture, delivering supercharged speeds up to 11,600 Mbps on 6 GHz, 5,800 Mbps (5 GHz), and up to 1,400 Mbps (2.4 GHz). With WPA3 & WPA2-AES authentication support, remote monitoring & troubleshooting, and Mesh Wireless Support for optimized signal quality, it's easy to set up and manage an unlimited number of APs with the EnGenius Cloud App. Retail price is around $550.

The top-of-the-line ECW536 has also a similar design and includes the Wi-Fi 7 mentioned at the right bottom corner.
The mounting mechanism is the same as with the ECW526.
The access point also has a similar design to the ECW526, housing only one LED at the bottom. This is a much bigger in size and weight device, with a weight of 1270g, Width: 230 mm, Length: 230 mm, and Height: 39.5mm.
Additional ports are included, two 10G ports (one for power PoE++, while the other for pass-through), a DC12V jack, and a reset hole. This AP can also be used as a 10G network switch.
Opening the ECW536 does inveil many cables that act as antennas strategically placed to get the best possible results.
As we can see EnGenius offers three different price range access points for the Wi-Fi 7 protocol with different features and working speeds. A table with each product's features and differences can be found below:
While all three APs do support Wi-Fi 7 (11be) their max speeds differ, especially at the 6GHz band. The bigger brother (ECW536) does even higher transmit power than the other two models and also includes two 10G ports, while the ECW526 includes only one. The ECW516L supports a 2.5G PoE+ port and all three support Mesh Tecnology and the EnGenius Cloud remote management, either via web or via the EnGenius Clout-To-Go app.
