LiteOn Presents Multi-Format DVD Burner

LiteOn unveiled today its first DVD burner that supports recording on DVD-RAM, DVD recordable /rewritable as well as dual layer media. The SHM - 165P6S will be available in stores late November. The ATAPI half-height brner features LiteOn's SMART-BURN, SMART-X and VAS technologies to ensure unproblematic opeartion during recording and audio/video extraction. The drive will burn DVD+R/-R at 16x CAV, DVD+R9 at 8x Zone CLV, DVD-R9 at 4x CLV, DVD+RW at 8x CLV and DVD+RW at 8x CLV. In addition, the SHM - 165P6S supports recording at DVD-RAM media at 5x CLV.
