ASUS Selects Fujitsu 300GB 2.5" SATA HDDs for Digital Entertainment Notebooks

The latest Fujitsu MHX2300BT Series, designed for use primarily in multifunctional mobile PCs and digital TVs, is the world's first 2.5" PMR hard disk drives to offer an storage capacity of 300GB. The A7S, G2S and W2W series, will feature the Fujitsu 2.5" SATA 300GB hard disk drive. The ASUS notebooks incorporated with Fujitsu 2.5" SATA 300GB are offering the capacity needed to store terrestrial broadcasting digital TV contents. In addition, the MHX2300BT series operates with a low power consumption of 1.6W, minimum noise level and high shock tolerance.

"Digital entertainment on the go is on the rise and notebooks are being used to run more power intensive applications," said Tony Chen, General Manager of ASUS Notebooks Business. "Our notebooks with the Fujitsu 300GB 2.5" SATA hard disk drives provide the answer to users who have been demanding for higher performance machines."
