Nvidia Geforce GTX 570 Coming Next Week
Nvidia plans to release the GTX 570 graphics cards next week, replacing the GTX 480 offering, according to a datasheet from Palit that "leaked" online.
According to the spec sheet, GTX 570 will be based on Nvidia's GF110 GPU and it is expected to offer higher performance compared to the currently available GTX 480 card. Basic specifications include the 732MHz and 1,464MHz for the GPU and shaders, a 320-bit memory bus and 1.28GB GDDR5 clocked at 3,800MHz.
The card will have a 225W TDP that only requires two six-pin PCIe power connectors as well as NVIDIA's new vapour chamber cooler found at its GTX 580 card.
According to the spec sheet, the GTX 570 will be launching next Tuesday. Rival AMD is also expected to release its high-end Radeon HD 6900-series GPUs.
