Hitachi and Microsoft To Provide Cloud Solutions To Japanese companies


Hitachi and Microsoft Japan will collaboratively provide global cloud solutions, combining Hitachi's Cloud Computing Solutions and Microsoft's Windows Azure Platform.

The companies will jointly provide Hybrid Cloud Solutions that will enable the reuse of existing IT assets, secure collaboration among clouds, and quick IT system transition to the cloud environment.

Hitachi provides WAN acceleration technology to collaborate data centers, integrated operation and management technology in addition to consulting and system integration services based on Hitachi's experience and cloud services. Microsoft provides latest technology of evolving Windows Azure Platform, technology for integrated management, and technology for collaboration with Microsoft's global data center. In addition, both companies will jointly provide global on-site support for their Japanese customers.
