Intel Invests in European-Based Motion Sensing Technology Company


Intel Capital is funding French company Movea, a provider of motion sensing technologies, with 6.5 Million Euros.

Movea specializes in developing motion sensing intelligence designed for software, embedded and semiconductor solutions. The company is also a provider of firmware, and IP for the consumer electronics, particularly smart phones and tablets, sports and fitness and eHealth industries. Movea's proprietary SmartMotion technology enable its customers and partners to add motion intelligence to their products.
