Twitter Releases Vine for Android

Twitter on Monday made available Vine, its embedded video service, on Android devices.

Available via the Google Play store, the app enables users of Android 4.0 or higher devices to record a six-second video and then embed it in a Tweet.

We should note that the Vine Android app still lacks some features found on the corresponding iOS app, such as search and front-facing camera support. On the other hand, Android Vine users will have the ability to zoom, something that is missing from the iOS app.
