New LG L Series III Smartphones Sport Android KitKat And Dual-core Processors
LG will unveil its third generation of L Series Android smartphones at the Mobile World Conference later this month.
The three new mid-range smartphones will run Android 4.4 KitKat and sport 1.2GHz dual-core processors, according to the company. They also come in a metallic frame with colorful Quick Window cases, which allow users to see the date and time on the screen without opening the case.
The L90 features a 4.7-inch display (960x540 pixel resolution), 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, an 8-megapixel rear-mounted camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and a removable 2,540mAh battery.
The L70 sports a 4.5-inch 800x400-pixel display, a 5- or 8-megapixel camera (depending on the market), 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and a removable 2,100mAh battery.
Last but not least, the low-end L40 comes with a 3.5-inch 480x320-pixel display, a 3-megapixel camera, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and a removable 1,540 or 1,700mAh battery.
LG didn't reveal pricing or partners for the new handsets or when they would hit the market.
