Apple Said To Buy Shazam


The deal could be worth as much as $400 million and be announced by Monday.

Apple will reporteddly buy Shazam, the app that allows users to identify music and movies, according to TechCrunch.

The deal could be announced as soon as Monday, according to the report.

Neither company has confirmed talks.

Shazam is a very popular app that lets users identify a song they're listening to by matching it to the songs in its database. We could assume that Shazam's functionality could gel well with Apple Music and its fight against Spotify.
