Being the best in gaming mice is where Razer has earned its reputation, and they continue to work hard on staying number one with each new mouse. The Razer DeathAdder is their most recent mouse to help retain the throne.

A while ago Razer released the Tarantula gaming keyboard. It received great reviews and everyone I talked to said they really liked it. Razer has a new line called Razer Pro|Solutions. All of the Pro|Solutions products are more focused towards the consumer crowd. Today we are taking a look at the Razer Pro|Type Keyboard, which is based on the Tarantula gaming keyboard. What's most noticeably different is there is an iPod dock right in the center of the keyboard. Actually it's the world's first keyboard with an integrated iPod dock. So let's take a look.

It started with bleeding edge mice that led the competition but now, Razer has gone on to adopt a wider product portfolio and the latest is the Razer Pro|Type professional keyboard.

If you want to automate complex macros in Photoshop for instance you can bind everything to one single key via the Razer drivers and save the bound macros to one of ten different profiles which means you can store a total of 50 macros to the Razer pro|type keyboard. The really cool part is that you can set the Razer pro|type keyboard up to automatically start the program up that each of your profiles goes with.

Creative own the audio market. When people say PC audio, the reply is Creative. No one has really had the balls to try and take them on in the gaming audio arena. That is, until now. Step in the Razer Barracuda AC-1, built by and for gamers.

The company describes this as the ultimate keyboard for gamers - they say it's created for gamers, by gamers. The Tarantula is Razer's first attempt at creating a keyboard, in this review I'm going to take a look whether it's worth your hard-earned money. As this is the first review of a Razer product on DV Hardware, I'm first going to give you a little bit of background information. Razer is an American company that makes computer peripherals for gamers, they are best known for their computer mice, but they also have keyboards, mousepads and audio solutions in their product lineup.

Razer's Pro|Type is their latest keyboard that comes in an iPod like white color with an integrated iPod docking station. The keyboard has two USB connectors to make sure there's always enough power for your keyboard and the iPod. Also included is a line-out so you can play music from your iPod directly on your home audio system.

Razer has been making professional gaming gear for a while now. As far as mice goes we have seen the Copperhead, Diamondback, and Krait from Razer. All of these mice have been very successful and all Razer mice have had a big following. Today we will be looking at Razer's latest gaming mouse the DeathAdder. We had a chance to check it out during CES so we were excited to get our hands on it.

To my aesthetic sense, the DeathAdder is Razer's best looking mouse to date. It's like the anti-Logitech mouse, where Logitech generally places rubber on the sides and slick plastic on top, Razer reverses that with the Adder. As I wrote this review I found myself wanting to call it the BlackAdder which would seem appropriate considering the color scheme. I'm not sure how Rowan Atkinson and the BBC would feel about that though.

Razer have transformed the gaming mouse market with their several successive mice; each building on the plus points of the last. With speaker systems and headsets; the keyboard was only a matter of time. Today I have the Razer Tarantula which is Razer's first attempt (bar the Microsoft Reclusa).

Razer is well known for its gaming mice but just how well does its new gaming soundcard fare against the might of Creative's X-Fi?

Razer's new Pro Tones m250 headphones look a bit different than your average headphone. They clip on to your ears, allowing the headset to be larger than the usual ear plugs, while still being quite compact. During testing we found out that these $50 headphones can deliver amazing sound quality, no matter which type of music you listen to.

The Razer Pro|Tones m100 is a light-weight in-ear headphone system that is designed to give you the best music listening experience. The headphones are available in black and white, which is a perfect match for an Apple iPod. After testing these $40 headphones we come to the conclusion that they offer excellent comfort and good sound quality.

Shedding the typical low profile and ambidextrous compatibility for a more comfortable grip, the DeathAdder is the latest gaming mouse from Razer.
